I am returning mine for two reasons:
I am using a 4x5 toyo field and the way that it screws into the lens makes it press against the lensboard and threatens to get stuck, cross-thread or bend.
The pin that triggers the shutter does not retract. Perhaps it would if I unwound the whole thing, but I am not even going to try since the screw/tip is not to my liking.

This is a great item for the money. The included reel adds great flexibility for storage in small camera bags. Very pleased with this product.

If you don't unwind the entire length of the wire, you will have to squeeze harder on the bulb to get the camera to take the photo, but otherwise great product.
