Comments about Manfrotto 036-38 Standard Stud with 3/8" Screw - for Super Clamp System:
I use this with a super clamp to mount my Manfrotto 498 RC2 to it. Great construction. I wish they had a package that included this stud as well, but at least it can be purchased individually.

Comments about Manfrotto 036-38 Standard Stud with 3/8" Screw - for Super Clamp System:
Can't go wrong with Manfrotto. I use these studs in the following way. I have my Manfrotto Super Clamps attached to my Manfrotto Auto Poles. I attach these studs into the Super Clamps to hold my spring clamps which in turn hold my 6'x7' white collapsible back drop. Works quite well.

No doubts about this even when used with d3 and 70-200 mounted to the system. Tight tolerances and deep cut threads.
