The 1T-AP-216 Audio Converter from TV One changes an analog stereo audio (R/L) signal to simultaneously available S/PDIF optical and coaxial digital audio signals. The unit samples at 48Khz and transmission distances of up to 16' are possible when using the optical output.
A special feature allows for the introduction of a 150ms delay into the digital data stream and is useful for correcting lip-sync problems often associated with HDTV broadcast programming. The unit's special design ensures it is immune to electromagnetic noise. A locking DC connector is included for increased security.
