Just returned from a snorkeling trip to Hawaii, and had bought this underwater case to use with my little Canon Powershot SD1200IS. Had never taken underwater shots before so was leery, but worked like a charm. The camera probably could have fit in the smaller waterproof case, but did not have time to exchange. If you use this size case with this camera, be sure to zoom slightly to get rid of the lens ring shadow. My camera has a tiny zoom knob, but was able to use it and change from auto to manual and set the ISO speed without any problem while underwater. I was 20 feet under at times for over 1/2 hour and no leaks at all. Be sure the first seal is tight before continuing with the velcro seals as it is hard to get that seal started. The pictures turned out clear as a crystal...just like the water. I plan to use this case many times and would highly recommend it.

Great case, but....
Great case, but the telephoto extension is too narrow for my Panasonic Lumix ZS7. As soon as they come out with a proper fit, I'll be buying it.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-310 Waterproof Case:
I used the case on a snorkeling trip it did keep the camera dry and safe (it floats with the camera in it) the lens on the case allowed for clear pictures. it was difficult to use the camera in the waterproof case as the lens on my camera does not extend out far enough so I had to try and make sure that when I was taking a picture to center the lens so it would not have a ring on the edge of the photo

Comments about DiCAPac WP-310 Waterproof Case:
This camera case protected our Easyshare camera nicely (case was a bit big for the camera; we had to hold the camera in place in the case.) The black part covering the zoom lens was a little thicker than needed (had to make sure the black wasn't in the picture.)The case was easy to use and very waterproof if closed correctly. Would be nice to have a strap to hold on wrist in ocean water (we took the strap off the camera and put it on the case.) Great service and price from B&H ..[...]

Use this in the pool with a Canon SD850. Works very well, although it's a bit hard to turn dials through the plastic.

I was a little wiry about using this product, but after I tried it out I love it! I bought this for my family's smaller point and shoot camera when I didn't want to lug around my 7D. We were able to get fun pictures in the ocean and not worry about the camera.

after making sure the bag didn't leak without the camera in it I placed the camera in the bag as instructed and jumped in my pool and tried it out and I was surprised it really worked.

Use with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35 well snorkeling. keeps camera dry ,and seems sturdy enough. Camera does move around a bit in case which can make for tricky pictures at times. Pictures did come out better then expected. Cheap and easy way to get your point and shoot out in the water.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-310 Waterproof Case:
I decided to purchase the Dicapac after comparing it to My Aqua Case and Ewa Marine. It is much less expensive than the Ewa and it has a faux lens instead of the plastic flexible material that covers the whole case. A little water gets into the folds, but it never actually enters the pouch. I really like it and the photos come out much more clear since it has the flat "lens" that doesn't bend and transmits all of the light. If you want something for your kids in the pool or vacation stuff this is perfect. I wouldn't necessarily put my 5D in one, but I trust it for a small point and shoot for sure. Lot's of fun! Oh and you can use all the buttons through the plastic. It is a little tricky to slide buttons, but pressing other buttons is very easy. It does move around a little so you can get a little vignetting if you aren't careful. You just need to be careful with the lens placement or pad it.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-310 Waterproof Case:
The Dicapac Waterproof Case is a must have for any point and shoot photogapher, parent, athlete, outdoorsman or whoever might encounter damage to a camera during a summer rain, day at the beach, or general travel. For [$] this case protects against everything that might (and probably will) happen to your point and shoot camera and is a lightweight, easy to use product that has applications far beyond snorkeling/diving and other watersports. I use mine during deep sea kayak fishing expeditions, and my wife uses it during pool parties. It will be an invaluable tool in the future because it fits a large number of cameras and is really easy to use. 5 stars, just for the fact that its small enough to pack allong for 'just in case.'

this is definitely a great product for those who want to take some underwater pics but do not want to spend $150+ to have a underwater housing. I tried it out in the pool. It turns out that it takes clear pics. Sealed well, easy to use!

Used this to protect camera from dust on safari in Namibia and South Africa. A little tricky in getting camera inside, but works as well as the more expensive solutions.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-310 Waterproof Case:
I bought this for a recent trip to Maui where I hoped to do some snorkeling and wanted to experiment with taking pictures while underwater. The case worked great although it was a little too big for my Canon PowerShot SD630 (better too big than small I suppose) so it slipped around a bit and was trying at times to line up the lens with the shooting window (which resulted in a few heavily lopsided vignetted frames). But that was strictly user error on my part. It's lightweight and easy to travel with and way less expensive than any hard-case you'll find for your given point-and-shoot. I've read a few reviews (for the WP-310 and other various models of this product) where people encountered leaks but I think those might be user errors as well (and expensive ones at that!). I never took it anywhere close to it's rated depth but just make sure you run a seal test as instructed in the manual before you jump in the water and you should be fine. It was a blast to be able to take my camera into (and under) the water without any worries. Have fun!

Comments about DiCAPac WP-310 Waterproof Case:
My wife and I bought this to help document our cruise. It kept our camera bone dry, while snorkeling, tubing and power boating. The only issue I had with this case was that it was difficult to change modes on our sony cybershot while it was in the case, and it was a little large for our camera, so it tended to shift around in the case and the lense did not line up with the lense space on the case. All in all, the case allowed us to take some great underwater pictures without having to buy a new waterproof camera.

It worked perfectly. My husband and I were a little skeptical since it looked like a fancy ziplock bag, but it proved it was more. We took it on our trip to Hawaii and used it snorkeling and just playing in the beach! Water never got it and it didn't interfere with the picture quality!

I purchased this for use with my Canon 850SD on a trip to the Carribean. As a low cost solution, it functioned quite well, not leaking and allowing me to take a number of water shots on the beach and in the pool.
