These QR plates are a must have for both photographers and filmmakers. I have lots of them and they've always held up amazingly well. Have been using and abusing them across Alaska and the rest of the country. Don't know what I'd do without these plates. Highly recommended you get lots of them and put the bottom plate on every tripod, monopod, gimbal plate, slider, etc. I also have the top and bottom plate on my Mix-Pre so I can quickly lock it in between the camera and tripod during an interview.
