This kit offers the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L USM AF Lens bundled together with a black LensCoat Lens Cover and Hoodie. Both are specifically customized for this lens.

The LensCoat Lens Cover covers the lens with a 100% closed-cell neoprene coat, offering protection from bumps, jars and nicks. It also provides a thermal barrier, protecting your hands from cold lenses in lower temperatures.

The LensCoat Small Hoodie Lens Hood Cover is a neoprene hood cover that fits easily and snugly around your lens hood in either the shooting position or reversed. This can help to protect the front element of your lens from dirt, dust, moisture and impact. The Hoodie features a reinforced removable front element protection disc made from rigid plastic and firm foam to further protect your lens from damage.

Ideal for nature and outdoor photographers, and for sports shooters and photojournalists.

Comments about Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L USM AF Lens with LensCoat Lens Cover & Hoodie (Black):

Had this lens for ~2 years, noticed that for some reason there are no reviews so had to write one. 24-70 lens is great on either full frame (5d or 1d) or crop sensor (40d etc) camera - with benefits from either format at wide or tele ends respectively. Favors portraits on crop camera and scenics/architecture on full frame but works great on either format (I use both). I use it for walk around and catching photo opportunities at home. It is reasonable size with excellent build quality - sturdy and with comfortable heft. On vacation, used the lens for a variety of shots including scenery and family on 5d. Excellent sharpness and color rendition. Some of my favorite family candids using available light from windows via f2.8 were captured weekends at home with this lens. Great complement to wider and longer zooms - my travel pack always contains this lens. Maybe not as good for scenics as 16-35 or wide prime, clearly not as appropriate for field sports as 70-200 or longer lenses, but when used as above is excellent. In my opinion, shows comparable image quality (sharpness, color rendition) to either of these lenses. While traveling / walking around perhaps more convenient and appropriate than the other lenses mentioned (especially the longer lenses). No significant negatives and haven't missed image stabilization (not included this lens) due to f2.8 capability using higher iso. I have recommended this lens to friends
