Comments about Gitzo GS3320SP Systematic Flat Plate:
Replaced the existing platform on my GT-3530SLV (3-series) tripod with this version. The rubber padding on the top and the utility hook at the bottom were the reasons why I purchased this plate. Build is as expected with Gitzo's wonderful top notch manufacturing. Overall I'm very pleased with this investment purchase!!!

Comments about Gitzo GS3320SP Systematic Flat Plate:
I bought this so I could switch out two different photo heads on the same Gitzo tripod without un-mounting them from the plate. I like to use a few drops of loctite on the mounting post threads so that I know the photo head is secure. The extra plate allows me to switch the heads out quickly by un-tightening one Tripod screw and lifting the plate and head out as one unit.
Comments about Gitzo GS3320SP Systematic Flat Plate:
Purchased as it has a Hook that can be used to attach additional weight to stabilize the tripod

Comments about Gitzo GS3320SP Systematic Flat Plate:
I recently upgraded my tripod to a 5538 when I received the Canon 800mm. I moved my leveling base and Gimbal from my 3 series I bought two years ago. This top plate is a nice improvement over the old style, has a hook which I always find handy, and I really like the new treatment on the top of the plate and locking screw. Give new life to my series 3 tripod.

Comments about Gitzo GS3320SP Systematic Flat Plate:
I have an older Series 3 tripod that had the previous version of the Gitzo plate. This new version is a nice upgrade with the new non-slip material on top and I especially like the hook on the bottom so you can hang your camera bag for extra weight to provide additional stability.
