With 120GB of capacity, the Apple iPod classic (Silver) is perfect for transporting up to 30,000 songs, 150 hours of video, 25,000 photos, or a combination of all three. A quick-charging lithium ion battery guarantees up to 36 hours of music play time, or 6 hours of video playtime.
Enclosed in a sleek, silver anodized aluminum and polished stainless steel housing, the iPod classic incorporates a new Genius Feature, which analyzes your current song selection and creates a new playlist composed of similar selections found within your music library. By running your finger around the iPod classic's Click Wheel you can also call up songs and videos by artist, album, playlist, genre, or title or shake things with the Shuffle feature, with a simple click of the wheel.
Music aside, you can also download music videos, games (Vortex, iQuiz, and Klondike are included), podcasts, movies, and your favorite TV shows from the iTunes Store and view them on the iPod classic's bright 2.5", 320 x 240 dpi color display.
For sharing your photos, the iPod classic uses iTunes (Mac) or Adobe's Photoshop Elements or Album (PC) to sync photos for slideshow viewing complete with music and transitions. Play your slideshows on your TV using the optional composite AV cable or an optional Apple component. The classic also comes pre-loaded with a calendar and contact display.

B&H is as god as their word. The iPod classic is great - exactly what I expected, simple to load and instructions were easy to follow. [...] I'd recommend the product and B&H to anyone.

Comments about Apple iPod classic 120GB (Silver):
Having three iPods in our family, I bought this one for youngest daughter - no manual needed, very intuitive. Used for music mainly and some 'never got fed-up' movies.
What I don't like: Camera adapter thatworked with previous generation is not compatible and new adapter not being available at all. I cannot use it for temporary storage of photos - pity.

Comments about Apple iPod classic 120GB (Silver):
Apple sure got it right with the iPod, and this version is fantastic! With 120 GB, I don't even need to compress the audio files. It holds thousands of CD-quality songs, which is terrific. Now there is a way of listening to uncompressed music with the convenience of an mp3-sized container.

Comments about Apple iPod classic 120GB (Silver):
Classic is the perfect name for this iPod. It has only gotten better with age.
Great for transporting my whole music library with me - plenty of room to go before I fill it up.
Easy to use, small and really portable.
They are quite thin now for how much they hold.

Comments about Apple iPod classic 120GB (Silver):
I've wanted one for a long time, mainly for its versatility and portability. I have my entire music library of 10,000 songs and I have about 2 dozen movies and podcasts. The sound is pretty good as long as you don't use the crumby iPod earbuds that come with it. I recommended either a decent pair of around ear headphones or gel/foam earbuds. The external hard drive is a great feature and the games are nice little extras. All in all I have no complaints about this device.

As a mom I love the size of it, the ample storage, and the many ways in which I can use it. I have had a little bit of a learning curve, but this is the first IPod I have purchased so it is to be expected. I recommend it.

What I love about this product is the fact that it is so easy to figure out, and the amount of stuff you can download on to it. I am not tech savvy and I had no problem getting this out of the box and using it.
I haven't found anything I don't like about it.

Get a solid state Ipod for running or listening while you work out. The 120 Classic has a moving hard drive.
B & H had by far the best price out there.

Comments about Apple iPod classic 120GB (Silver):
I used the ipod classic for music, lots of podcast and tv shows. This ipod offers plenty of storage space plus I can keep my favorite photo, and contact information in one unit. This is the product to have if you have any down time such as at the airport, on planes, beauty salon, or doctors' office. The ipod classic is a little bigger than the nano, but it is so worth it.
