GoPro's Ride HERO is a tube clamp for mounting your Helmet or Motorsports HERO camera onto your bike's seatpost or handlebar tube. Capture all the action while you ride from this on-bike mounting accessory. Instead of capturing the same helmet shot that everyone else gets, this lower point of view provides intense video that will impress you and your friends. The Ride HERO also attaches to chainstays or or any other place on the bike that is in the clamp's range of 0.75-1.4". The included orientation adjusting mounts provide numerous position options.

Product does exactly as stated. Allows you to mount your Go Pro camera to various parts of your bike. So far I have easily mounted it to my handlebars, seat post and my front shock without any problems. The only con is that you will need the larger roll bar version of this mount if you want to attach the camera to the frame of the bike.

It looks like the perfect companion to the Hero camera, but DON'T use this product on a moving object that is subject to external forces or vibration.
On first use, I used this mount to fix the MotorSports Hero on the crash bar of my dual sport motorcycle and drove it on a gravel road. The mount broke (one of the small arms) due to the vibration and the camera was lost. Even though it was built as small/short as possible.
It's relatively easy to use but doesn't seem to support the weight of the camera when subjected to external forces. This quite limits the use of the motorsports Hero, as any real mounts need to be custom made. This mount would probably be good for your baby carriage though, as you will most likely notice if it breaks off and you will not loose your camera.
GoPro accepts no warranty due to damage resulting from use, so using it is your responsibility.

Used my HD hero inside a microstock race car this weekend. The picture and sound were really nice.
Super easy to use with the one button recording feature. Just listen for the beeps and you know it is on or off. Thinking about getting one for my wifes race car now!

I record a number of events. With this mount I'm able to mount the GoPro camera to an old light stand and get a shot 8 feet off the ground giving me a a great wide shot of large events.

We use this attachment with the gopro camera to film underwater from a vessel on a long pole. The attachment works well and has stayed in position at speeds up to 6 knots.
The one thing that would work great is a tether - just in case the attachment breaks - so that you don't lose the whole camera. We improvised one, but it's not ideal.

Does just what it says it does. I've mounted it on the handlebar of my vintage motorcycle -- which vibrates like crazy -- and it works like a charm --although I did add a small strip of rubber between the clamp and the handlebars to help achieve a perfect fit. Without the rubber, the smooth plastic against the chrome bars means you have to really crank it down to keep it stable -- and risk over-tightening. Not sure why they don't include a little strip of rubber with the kit.

I've used this for several weeks, and don't know if it's is gonna last because when I attach it to my my bike's handle bar it bends too much, but it work very good.

Actually bought this one by mistake (meant to by the rollbar mount. Perfect for bikes and small pipes. My apartment balcony has amazing sunsets and this has helped me capture them.
I was also pleased to see all the different adapters you can piggy-back on the mount to set up your GoPro perfectly!

Comments about GoPro Ride HERO:
I use this GoPro mount for my mountain bike pretty much everytime I hit the trails. I love it! The only thing is that it can only be put on to certain parts of the bike. If you want to attach your GoPro to a larger frame or a part that is larger then usual, I'd recommend the roll bar GoPro mount, which is essentially the same as this just a bit wider as its meant for larger diameter.
This mount is also great for a ski pole when you want to do some filming of yourself or want some extra distance with a boom.

Great mount for Gopro, very effective but can be flimsy and risky.

Comments about GoPro Ride HERO:
Will mount on many parts of my bicycles; aerobars, handlebars, seatpost, seat stays. Won't mount on any other part of the frame other than the seat stays, but I wouldn't want to risk damaging the integrity of the frame anyway. This is the second one I own. Now I can mount one on the front and one on the back of the bike so I can easily switch camera positions during the ride.

I use this mount to connect my Gopro video camera to bikes, motorcycles and pole for underwater video. Gopro does a great job making rugged durable mounts so I never have to worry about my camera falling off the mount.

easy to use both vertical and horizontal, fits most of the tubes on a bike, but could be a bit larger for even larger tubes
