I had a photo shoot comimg up at an Air Force Base and my sensor on my 5D was dirty and creating spots. I bought this kit and it worked great. I was a little worried about using it but everything worked out. Cleaning it at first left some streaks but after the second wand everything was perfect. The light on the vacum did not help much but I just used a small flash light.

The Magnifier does have dust inside... This actually isn't that big of a problem. Though I found it hard to focus on the sensor dust, once you do, it is easy to tell the dust on sensor or in the magnifier apart.
The vacuum... Well if you take the cap off and don't see the brush end, it's in the cap. As far as it working, it does. It's meant to pick up stuff around the sensor, not on it.
Finally, the swabs... I don't like these at all.
Though they might be "lent free", they have loose hairs which leave streaks; even with 2 drops of cleaning solution. The sizes of the swabs aren't great either, About 5mm too small. And if you have a full frame sensor, buy extra swabs because there are a lot of swabs for 1.6x crop sensors and few for the FF.
Overall, I think the magnifier would be better if it allowed you to clean the sensor while viewing it. And the way the lights are inside, its hard to use as a light source when off the camera. The vacuum is not strong enough to pick up visible particles. The swabs should be a different material and a little bigger.
For the price, I think it might be better to piece together your own kit. A static brush might be better because it is another way to touch the sensor and is actually dry. Because you shouldn't use swabs twice, you go through them quickly.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
overall the product is easy to use. the magnification view is not that useful, and the vacuum so far because peak through it didn't help a lot and if use vacuum inside without swap i feel there will be more dust stick into sensor, but the vacuum is always good for cleaning the reflecting mirror. the solution inside of the packed did work with the swap, and make my came clean again i really like it. i mean this whole product basically if only use the solution and the swap then it is enough for clean out the sensor as new. anyway it is good product i like it. and it is nice to have everything together for just make sure not to do something wrong.

First time cleaning a sensor, I was a tad bit nervous doing it myself. After looking at directions and equipment, I found it very simple to do. Cleaning didn't take long and camera's up and running.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
The Kit is simple to use. Viewing the dust with the sensor scope works reasonably well, although I prefer larger magnification. But the vacuum brush did not do anything. Did not try the sensor swabs because they looked to small for my fullscreen sensor. Their demo makes the product look safe and easy to use, but the ending statement of the demonstrator is"good lucK!". Not very encouraging, although kind of comical. I am not happy with this product and would not recommend it. In addition, after trying to clean the sensor I had a huge dust spot on my sensor, which could not be removed by a rocket blower nor the Delkin dry tools.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
I changed the lens in very wet weather and the sensor was covered with humidity spots.Because I change lenses very often,I do not want to depend on cleaning the sensor by the manufacturer's representative. So I bought the SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit by Delkin. I cleaned the sensor spots, it was quick easy and efficient! I encourage photographers to buy it!

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
I ordered this kit after watching the videos on how to use it. The kit arrives in an attractive case but I soon got the impression that more effort was put into making it look good than how well it actually worked. The viewing scope works quite well. The vacuum can plug into a USB port or a battery backup but in order to use the battery backup I had to hold the connections tightly together or it received no power. That would require 3 hands to use the vacuum and so it cannot be used. When plugged into the USB port I could not detect any movement of air through the nozzle. It seemed like I was brushing the sensor but small dust particles did not get removed. The instructions did not state what size wet swab to use--I spent 5 minutes online trying to figure that out. The kit contains different sizes--the majority of which will never be used because they are the wrong size. To get more replacement swabs I'd have to pay over $20 so this rather expensive kit yields very few wet cleanings and the vacuum cleanings are not helpful. So even if you can see the dirt on the sensor, it's an expensive way to clean them off. Better just order the exact proper size cleaning materials and let your image from the camera dictate when it needs cleaning. I return very few things, but this I returned. It may give psychological peace that the buyer tried to clean the sensor, but only the few swabs were the important part. The attractive case is smoke and mirrors.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
I used the product to clean the sensor on my Canon 50D.
The product worked as designed and I removed dust and debris from the focal plane. The magnifier was good, the vacuum worked well followed up by the damp swab--BUT
The push button power switch immediately became stuck in the housing and could not be turned off before I pried it loose--happened every time. Also the plastic cover on the brush removed the brush which then had to be removed from the plastic cover and reinserted in the end of the tool. This was returned for replacement.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
The second time I used the vac the power switch wedged and would not shut off. The only way I could use it was to use the switch on the battery pack. I got the push button unstuck, but now I can't turn the vac or light on. This this is poorly build, not repairable and I'm sorry I wasted my money.
I gave this item one star because the program would not let me give ZERO STARS.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
My sensor and mirror had specs of dust. I couldn't live with it and after reading reviews about sending the camera back to the dealer, I decided to try it myself. I am glad I did. The lighted magnifier is the key to a clean sensor and mirror.
The kit paid for itself the very first time I used it. The only drawback is the electric vacuum. I wouldnt use it inside the camera.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
The Scope is worth the price of the kit, excellent. No need to take countless test pictures to see if sensor is clean. The vacuum works great as well. I couldn't recomment this Sensor Cleaning Kit more highly. A must have for any DSLR owner, you will eventually need to clean your sensor if you own more than one lens.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
I use the kit to clean my full frame dSLR and my cropped dSLR. The light on the scope makes it easy to see the dirt on the sensor and decide how to clean it. The 'On' switch makes the scope easier to use but the light can be accidentally left On. The caps on the sensor should be translucent in case it is left on then it would be visible.
I don't plan to use the vacuum.

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
I was looking for a good cleaning device and this seemed like it would work since it came as a "kit". I did read some of the other reviews and already knew that some of the parts might not be that good. But I figured that at least the scope would be cool, and maybe I could use a few of the sensor swabs. The little vacuum was trash, and I didn't even get to try the sensor swabs. This is because the sensor scope was HORRIBLE. Using it on a D700 (full frame) I could maybe see the very center of the sensor in focus. I couldn't see the rest of the sensor. I even tired turning the scope to different angles and no luck. I cursed, and packaged everything back up and sent it back for an RMA. I have better luck in a "no wind" room with my naked eye to see the dust. I did get a rocket air blower and will just use that until I put down the money for real cleaning supplies.... seriously don't get this.

The only good thing of this product is the scope.
The really useless thing is the vacuum. It doesn't works at all.
Then the swaps are fine, like any others from other brands.

As a serious amateur photographer I have always been cautious of trying to clean my sensor. Owners manuals and other advice received urged me to send the camera to the manufacturer for cleaning. WRONG. This product is easy to use and very effective. I would recommend it to anyone.

Within 1 hr I was able to clean all 3 of my camera bodies. When I pre-inspected my A700 I found that the sensor was actually streaked from a prior cleaning (no wonder images were not as sharp as they should have been). Post-inspection the sensor was free of dust and streaks. The Vac has sufficient power to meet the intended use (especially when you also press the power up button to increase the suction power for stubborn flecks)

Comments about Delkin Devices SensorScope 2 Cleaning Kit:
The sensorscope is a must have to do or to know to have done a great cleaning job and is highly recommended. The sensorvac on the other hand is useless and possibly a source for damage to the sensor with those hard bristles - I wouldn't trust the use of it - highly recommended to be trashed!! The scope with its tiny lights is a great little unit and will have many other potential uses.
