I use this camera for snapshots and for occasional portraits of family and friends. It does extremely well in low light, and the Leica lens delivers amazing detail. It is well-built and sturdy and fits the hand quite well.

I bought this camera as a gift for my mother. It is easy to use and has a good battery life. This camera has Optical Image Stabilization to reduce blur, which is much more effective than Digital Stabilization.

We bought this camera for my girlfriend. As usual with me, I have read reviews, technical specifications, etc., my gf was responsible to choose from the great but dull looking cameras the one, she likes. We tested ourselves at least a dozen cams, but they have been either too expensive or lacking quality output. At the end we tried this little gem, and my gf fell straight for it. It has an easy to navigate menu, looks good, has got a great lens (especially for it's price) and the pictures look nice, vibrant, WB is generally good... The Nikons, Samsungs etc. in the same price bracket looked horrible compared to this one. Obviously it is a P&S, so do not expect a 5d MkII high ISO performance, but still... For this price you can NOT go wrong with this cam. My only concern is the video (hard to find a player to play the files) and the battery life, which is a bit weak compared to others.

easy to use sharper pictures fantastic results
only draw back low battery life need to have spare how ever this will depend on the usage we used it flat out as this was our first visit to NY and we did loads of sight seeing

I am a professional photographer but I didn't want to carry my cameras and lenses in on a 5 day backpacking trip and this camera was awesome!! Couldn't be happier with the pictures and this camera is fast with very little if any shutter drag! Quality is great!
