Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Digital Camera (Silver):
We bought this product for my husband based on reviews and because he already has a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ,5MP, 12 x optical zoom and is delighted with it but wanted a smaller version for travelling and for work where a small camera fits in a pocket. He used it during our recent trip to New York and California and found the camera very user friendly, compact, large and clear LCD monitor, easy to use menu with simple thumb activation, providing sufficient choices in scene mode for his needs. Photos are very sharp in every mode and good intelligent auto. In general very happy with the purchase.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Digital Camera (Silver):
I bought the Lumix FS25 for my wife who was looking for an easy-to-operate point-and-shoot camera that would fit in her purse. After considerable research I decided against the Nikon and Canon competitive models (I earlier had a small Canon that died), and I settled on the Lumix FS25. The main features that convinced me to by the FS25 was the Leica lens, the intelligent autofocus (iA) mode that really does let the photographer point and shoot, the 5x zoom capability, image stabilization, and the high quality pictures. So far (3 weeks) we have been very pleased. My wife loves the ease of use of the camera, which so far she has used mainly for indoor family photos; she is very pleased with the quality of the pictures – sharp, and good color. The auto-flash function works well and provides appropriately exposed pictures on the iA setting. We have even been satisfied with pictures taken on the ISO 800 setting. The 5X zoom function is very useful, enabling excellent close-up pictures even if the camera isn't very close to the subject. The large display window is very easy to read even in bright light. We think that the Lumix is everything we expected and probably much more – my wife now wants to learn how to use some of the other features and modes that the camera has.
So far we have not used the camera long enough to identify anything that we are disappointed with. I have no regrets over my purchase and would make the same purchase again if I were to run through the process again. Highly recommended.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Digital Camera (Silver):
I am having a lot of fun with this camera! My old camera was 7 years old, so this one has a lot of whistles and bells by comparison. Beautiful macro shots; beautiful portraits and mid-range shots; try the "sunset" setting! I think I needed to play around with the settings to get the quality I wanted. Excellent battery life, fairly easy controls (some of the buttons are kind of small). The manual was a bit confusing and lacked detail. I had to look up some of the terms online. All in all, I am looking forward to taking this on vacation, and experimenting with all the settings.
