We finally took the plunge into HD with this TV. It replaced our old CRT Sony WEGA. The key features I was looking for were all there. Most important was PC Input. Being a computer geek I wanted to plug a computer into the TV and use it as a home theater PC. I can watch HULU, youtube, boxee, and any other form of digital video as well as surf the web and even play games. While, the PC input does not support 1080p resolution, it does support a sufficient resolution for my uses.
My only complaint is VIERA Cast. This feature is definitely not fleshed out very well yet.
VIERA Cast is a cool idea, but it is very clunky and does not work well. I would rather it not be there at all than having it there and not really production ready. This is a minor complaint though as it has nothing to do with how most people intend to use their TVs.

On another note, the build in speakers work very well. We live near a major US interstate, and there is always a constant buzz of the traffic. Our old TV had trouble even when turned up as high as it would go. The VIERA G10 built in speakers compete with the noise very well.

My XBOX 360 works Great on this TV. I can now actually see people before they kill me, now if only I could aim...

There is a slight glare when the sun is shining through the windows at the current angle the TV is at, but it is not too bad.
In all, I give features and quality a B+, but the price earned this TV extra credit, bumping it up to an A-

NO PROBLEMS SETUP. THE REMOTE ONLY WORKS TV SET, STILL NEED SECOND REMOTE FOR SATILITE OPERATIONS,VCR, DVD ETC.

This TV has a great picture and an easy-to-use set-up. The only downside is the sound quality is not as good as it could be.

I have waited a long time to join the HD club. Now with a lot of channels available and the reasonable prices of T.V.s our family is now enjoying pretty pictures and sounds.
The Panasonic TCP42G10 delivers a lot for a great price. The THX setting is good for some movies and shows, but not all. You can tweak it to fit your own taste.
It was very easy to set up. Lots of easy access and connectivity.
I would highly recommend this T.V. to my friends or anybody reading this. I'm looking forward to many hours of enjoyment out of it!

I can't say enough good things about this tv, but I am also biased to plasma over LCD regardless of glare. It was a great price by itself for this tv and the free BD60 Bluray offer made it a no brainer.

I'm completely happy with the picture on this TV. I've looked at a lot of them while shopping, and even the 240hz lcd's didn't hold a candle to the plasma's. NO motion blur on this, great blacks, you'd have to spend A LOT more to get a better picture and it would only be with a monitor that allowed more picture controls.
Speakers are just fine for being built in.

The picture is better than I expected! It is so clear and crisp. It was clearly the best quality picture for the money. I can't watch a football game on my old TV any more!

This is an awesome plazma HDTV ! We watch basic tv with it and this tv makes even it look good. But when watching HD channels they look great on this set. When watching BlueRay movies they look incredible on this TV. I'm glad I did my research before deciding on this plazma. It's a fantastic TV and I couldn't be happier with it. I had to buy a tv to replace the one that stopped working and this one was always near the top of reviews and with good reason. Excellent picture. Good sound. Menus could be improved some. This tv was less expensive than a new led tv at a store.

[...] After I opened it I realized the tv was broken... on the very left side of the screen a column of pixels were malfunctioning. I called panasonic and they replaced it immediately with no charge to me. The tv has excellent picture quality and the viera cast features are nice. It comes with a THX mode and a video game mode to shift pixels to prevent burn in.
