Great choice for backdrop options...particularly for headshot interviews, etc...
However, it is ESSENTIAL that you should open the packaging and iron it before the first use. I also suggest getting a long piece of pvc pipe to then wrap it around, as refolding it would allow the wrinkles to return!
While the thicker heavier material is MUCH preferred, you might still see some transparent light coming thru the back IF there is any backlight present.
The choice of white color works very well with pattern projection.
But overall, an excellent choice and a great price!

I read reviews between this one and the non "heavyweight" version. I can't imagine what the non-heavyweight version would be like, as this one could probably afford to be even heavier. It took forever to iron this thing and even then wrinkles remained. I then took some wrinkle remover spray and drenched the thing, but still had wrinkles. It worked okay for the project I needed it for, but was disappointed in all the wrinkles. With dramatic lighting, the wrinkles were visible in the photos.

Worked great, we brought a steamer to the set and in less than an
hour we were setup and shooting.
The color is true and material was easy to handle .

Great weight, and size for my small indoor studio. The color is true. It's just so wrinkly!!!!! I think I'm going to buy a steamer and see if that works. Putting it in the dryer did not work. Overall pretty happy though.

The white color and fabric quality is very good. I used it for portraits and also for on location photography. It worked very well.
Out of the box it was wrinkled. I ironed it and it worked very well.
In one instance somebody spilled white wine on it and stained it. Washed with Tide, gentle wash cycle and then with bleach on regular cycle. Its clean as white.

These are the size and color I needed...I like a plain background and can't stand that traditional painted canvas look. I read the reviews and decided on these instead of the cheapest ones because they are thicker and won't let the light through. Can't wait to try them out, in my studio and on-location!

Nice quality material. You can see through it if there is light behind it, but it's not that bad. Be prepared to take some time ironing it when you get it.
