Coby TFTV1524 15" Widescreen HDTV
Coby's 15" TFTV1524 Widescreen LCD HDTV may be small in size but by no means is it small in features. The black-crafted HD LCD panel has a native resolution of 1280 x 800 with advanced image processing and a fast 6ms video response rate to provide clear to life detailed pictures. You'll be delighted by the superb definition and detail of Coby's picture, courtesy of its high dynamic contrast ratio. Colors appear deeper and darker under virtually all room lighting conditions.
You'll easily tune into HD and standard broadcasts due to the built-in ATSC/NTSC tuner, in addition to programs from your cable or satellite provider. The TFTV1524 also comes with all the inputs you'll need to enjoy media players, Blu-ray/DVR/VCRs, video games and digital photos.
The 15" LCD HDTV also comes with two full-range stereo speakers for a total of 10 Watts. With the addition of a 15-pin VGA jack, the LCD can be also be used as a space-saving PC monitor for your notebook PC.

used as a line monitor in a church broadcast situation. It functions well but the remote provided does not address the monitor at all. The remote does, by the way, control a 26" television located in the same area - it is a VISIO brand.

While hooking up coax cable for the first time the connector dropped out of the tv,I contacted Coby, this is not covered under their 90 day warranty. Low quality parts used in manufacturer. Industry standard warranty is one year, Cobys is 90 day, this is a "Red Flag"..

The Coby 15" looks teriffic out of the box - high quality finish, and a great looking screen. The tuner is dual analog / digital, so I plugged it into cable and it scanned everything, even the radio channels. The great news is, its also a computer monitor - like a tinker toy in a box. The LCD is hard to see at an angle, but straight on it looks great, and is low power. Very green, and easy on the budget.
