The Steadicam Merlin is a camcorder stabilizing system for small camcorders. This system utilizes a metal gimbal for smooth camera movement. This was designed by Garrett Brown and outperforms its predecessor the Steadicam Jr.
This Steadicam 801-7902 custom-fitted Merlin travel case allows an operator to securely stow a mounted and balanced camcorder on the Merlin stabilizer in order to be ready for the next shot when working in changing conditions. Ample room is provided to store ancillary equipment, and the durable outer shell affords protection from the elements while in transit.
The ProVista, combined with the FM18 Fluid Video Head, provides rigid support for those who need strength more than versatility in height options. It assembles to its working height very quickly thanks to a 75mm claw ball and twist locks which require just half a rotation.
The Davis & Sanford W3 Universal Folding Dolly can be used with all standard tripods, is adjustable, and can be folded up to a compact 24 x 7" size.
3" ball-bearing rubber/metal wheels feature "step on brakes" that lock and unlock the rolling and swivel movement of the wheels.
The Steadicam 8017900 is a docking bracket for the Merlin camera stabilizer system. This bracket works with display stands to allow the Merlin to stow upright while preparing for usage.
