Visual Departures Suction Cup Mount - 6", Capacity 75 lbs
With 1/4" and 5/8" thread. For loads of up to 75 lbs. (34kg.)
Suction Mount makes it possible to attach light and other equipment in places where you can't position a light stand or a tripod. It works with a suction cup activated by a built-in vacuum pump. With a load capacity of as much as 75 lbs. (for the SM-6), you can mount strobe heads on windows, cameras on vehicles, and a range of grip equipment on almost any non-porous surface.

We use two of those for a car rig. We wanted something that would hold more than 5 lbs (ie: the anvenger swivel suction cup) and so we combined that with a few super clamps and it turned out into this incredibly sturdy car rig.

Picked this up when I was in a jam and needed some good in-car shots, but didn't have the space to tie down a tripod.
It fit the bill very well, mounted easily and effectively to door windows, the windshield, and the sunroof (all interior).
Effectively held a Nikon D300 w/MB-D10 grip, sporting everything up to a 17-55/2.8, and didn't lose grip once, even during the extended drives.
Great mount, glad I picked it up!

I use this mount to secure a DSLR to various parts of a vehicle. Obviously, use a safety cable as a backup, but it's held a D3 with a 17-35mm lens without problem.
On a clean surface, the suction builds quickly and it's rock solid.
Like a previous reviewer, I'd like to see a 3/8" stud instead of a 1/4", but I haven't been able to snap it yet.

It works really well, and has never given any indication that it is losing it's grip. If I was to make one suggestion, it would be that the manufacturer replace the 1/4 20 thread with a 3/8" thread ... just for piece of mind.
