Never having any luck with LCD protectors, I decided to try to put this flipbac on a new camera to keep the LCD display unscratched. I followed the directions on the package and it didn't quite fit, missing the LCD. Later, I was reading the website to figure out what to do and found directions there for applying it to my camera, a D-lux 4. I wish I had known to look there before doing it. I read their instructions on how to take it off and that worked well. And their instructions to apply it look good. [...] The unit did not fit exactly flush, but I don't see how they could make it do that. It works fine as a protector, which is what I care about. I don't think I can adjust my vision to look through mirrors to compose a picture, but we'll see about that later.

I just bought a new Nikon camera. It is an amazing camera. The only thing I miss, that I had on my last Sony camera, is a pull-out viewfinder. I photograph kids in action and I am constantly on the ground or up on chair -- taking photos from all angles. So, that pull-out viewfinder came in handy. This angle viewfinder just doesn't help. It is simply a mirror, so the image is in reverse and takes a few seconds to get the right angle on the mirror to see anything at all. I finally just took it off the camera.

I bought this to see if it would work with my Canon Power Shot 230 HS and was very disappointed. It doesn't fit correctly onto a camera that has a wide angle lcd for video, feels flimsy and of course reverses the image from the lcd.
It could work in a pinch for some shots but mostly just gets in the way. Save your money!

used it with the lumiix , seemed usefull when I ordered, but was not intuitive to sue, n flips open on the left side, could not use it as it needed to be stuck on the back of the camera, n did not wanna do that ,
sorry , would not recommend it

Good product if you want protection of the LCD. But other than that its all I would recommend it for. It kind of gets in the way of trying to take photos. The whole mirror part of it is very dumb. Not very useful at all.

I absolutely love this remarkable device. Don't give credence to the negative reviews. I couldn't wait to use this device. I shoot a lot of Classic Car Shows and needed this to capture a low angle of the front end of cars. Previously, I had to lay on my back and angle the camera up to get the shots I needed. This device allows me to just bend over. The first time I used this, I was blown away. Yes,,,,,,, it takes some getting use to but, only an absolute moron would fail at this. If you're considering buying this, do yourself a favor.......Don't read anymore reviews and place your order. BUY 2.

I got it to use on my 800 UZ, It was .5" smaller on diagonal for my scree. :-(
So I put on my DSC-H3 and I love it it is so practical

I prefer using the LCD screen instead of the viewfinder so this is a plus. I can look down at the scene instead of holding the camera up to my eye. This should help my bad neck.

I wear progressive lens glasses and I thought this would help me from having to tilt my head back while looking at the LCD screen. Well, it didn't really solve that problem: I can simply hold the camera lower because of the above-average quality of the screen itself (Sony Cybershot DSC-WX9, also bought at B&H, very satisfied). Otherwise, it seems like a very useful and well-built device for some people and in some situations.

This is an easily stick on to display of back camera so you can view various angles instead of direct shot. I is well made and seems like part of the camera when installed on the screen not to mention to protect it in a way. I recommend it to anyone with a camera with back LCD display.

I use this full time on the back of my D3. It works great as a screen protector, glare reducer, and mirror to check for food in the ol beard ; )
I would use this on my other cameras if they didn't already have protectors.

NICE QUALITY AND FEEL TO IT; IMPORTANTLY, IT ALSO DOES WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO. JUST BE CAREFUL WITH THE SIZE: 3 INCHES ISN'T ALWAYS 3 INCHES, SO THE FIT MAY BE A LITTLE OFF. IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE HOW LONG THE ADHESIVE LASTS, BUT SO FAR SO GOOD.

Its not what it seems to be, But it does serve its purpose, its a mirror that reflects the LCD screen, so that you can shoot extreme low angles without breaking you neck, or lying face down on the floor. Its not that strongly built either, but for [$], it's worth it.

This is a simple mirror device that will allow you to take photos at any angle while appearing to be looking down. An easy away to capture an image without alerting your subject.

If you like creative angles in "live view" using the LCD, then this is ideal. Also great for protection.
