Comments about Panasonic AJ-P2E064XG 64GB E-Series P2 Card:
This is the second 64GB P2 Card I have purchased (because I found that while shooting, it is way better to have two instead of just one). Yes, it's expensive up front, but if you take care of it, it will outlast the equivalent in DVCPRO HD Tape Stock (which is roughly selling for $70 per 10 hours) in no time.

Comments about Panasonic AJ-P2E064XG 64GB E-Series P2 Card:
I had a 32 GB card and a 16GB but what a difference a 64GB makes for longer events like conferences. In the past 2 weeks I have used it on 5 different events - has been very reliable and I totally recommend.

Comments about Panasonic AJ-P2E064XG 64GB E-Series P2 Card:
On HPX3100 2/3" at max 1080/30pN recording, it's solid performing from harsh physical conditions and unfavorable weather (frigid cold to desert heat). I bought 36 of these cards and they're all so far they're performing flawlessly. Multi-cam live concerts and reality shows are a joy to work w/ P2 workflow. No CRC errors yet. Don't mind the current price because I recall back in 2007, the 16 Gb R series was about $1300. It's much cheaper now. P2 workflow seems to be very the current trend for broadcasters and indie content producers. The metadata upload to the cam (prior to shoot) and high quality proxy recording are great features w/ P2 format. Simultaneous proxy + MXF allows instant playback and quick content check. I can record with confident and not worry about the fragile tape-based formats. Looking forward to 128 Gb.

I have to use the product for work, and here is one of the few places I found it at a very good price and got it right away since it was in stock. It's not my first time I buy equipment here, and I always return.

Comments about Panasonic AJ-P2E064XG 64GB E-Series P2 Card:
I bit the bullet and bought 2 x 64 GB P2 cards and I am so glad I did. I never had issues using tape but the P2 cards completely frees up so much time and effort when I sit down to edit. The one complaint I have is that the footage can't be transferred directly from the camera to the computer/editing software, at least on my system. I had to purchase a P2 card reader to do so. Panasonic needs to figure that one out.

Comments about Panasonic AJ-P2E064XG 64GB E-Series P2 Card:
i use the 64gb p2 cards to shoot hd footage on hvx 201 cam. The space i have makes me love this cards coz i dont have to stop during a shoot to download stuff and create space, there is already too much space on my 2x64gb cards.
The only downside is when transferring to finalcut, the conversion from xml to quicktime sometimes takes forever esp when moving 128gb from card to mac
