Great Product! Provides an excellent audio stream. Be sure to lock in a good chanel before use. Can occationally reeive interference from other mics.

I have only used this mic once, but I do weddings and I am very pleased with the results. The ability to scan for open frequencies is invaluable, as my setting is always changing. We used this for guest interviews and the ceremony and it sounds awesome!

I was recording with an Audio Technica hard lav mic for too long -- was spending money only on the visual end of production. What a difference great sound makes. Going wireless is obviously awesome but I was amazed with the sound quality. They're easy to use -- though I had do a little research on the frequency channels. I'm definitely going to buy another one soon.

These Sennheiser wireless microphones are hard to beat. The sound quality and reception are very strong. I replace the included microphones with Countryman B6 models. The only thing I don't like about them is that all the menu controls are underneath the battery compartment, making them a bit difficult to access at times. They're a bit expensive but very reliable.

Bought this for shoot interviews during wedding film. At the first time it was very hard to make a decision to purchase this one because of price. I looked for cheaper models from Sony, Azden etc., read the customer reviews. At last I decided that disappointment from worse quality will last much more than joy from better price. I know that I purchase my gear for much years of heavy use. Cristal clear sound. Sturdy construction. Mobile phone's quantity doesn't affect the performance of receiver and even more pros.
I use this thing also during wedding banquets to record clean sound of music, dance, conferancier speech. To do this I disconnect the lavalier mic and connect the transmitter directly to sound mixer of DJ. Perfect solution!

I bought 2 of these units, and am pretty happy with them. I wanted a set of Lecrto's, but they were way out of my price range. These sennfeiser's do a great job. Out of the 10 tim
es I've used them so far, I've only had one rf hit..(sounded like a dial-up modem).

The range is more than useable, the mic is decent but I plan on getting trams tr50's for em. They are also pretty tough. One was dropped from 5t on hard ground and didn't skip a beat.

I have been using the earlier versions for pro interviews. Finally got my own.shot a wedding recently and was able to plug the transmitter into the DJ's house board and receive great audio into my Canon XHA1. Worked out perfectly.

I received these as a gift, altogether with the "Sennheiser EW 100 G3 Series Dual Basic Kit". Excelent quality with clear sound and really easy to set up and use.

If you're recording for film or pro-video, I'd recommend using them as backup, or together with a boom mic, as they are too clear and don't deliver the bass and depth a shot gun usually does. Nevertheless, excelent quality as this is not considered a top of the line product (but holds up really well).

There is a reason these are the de facto standard for wireless lav mics. Great build quality, easy to use, reliable. Have used these before and would definitely spend the money on them again.

The first thing I noticed was the flat frequency response from the mic. The second was the strength of the volume the mic delivers. Both are really important for me.When you consider this system is priced in the low-mid range for consumer mics, and at the very low end for professional equipment (I didn't want to spend $2500 for the wireless lav system I really wanted)... it performs beautifully.In fact, I'm tempted to want to use it for everything. Of course, I don't... but if there's a chance to use this mic. I'm taking it.One last thing. If you have the budget to get this, do it. I bought this system to replace an older Shure model. This has been the best purchase I have made for my business. The transmitter & receiver sync pretty easily and the sound quality is fantastic. I'd say the auto settings are a little hot, but not too bad. The ease of set up is fast. Everything you'd want in a Lav system.

Buying, opening and using this mic is like riding first class... I feel spoiled.

I bought this mic because I wanted amazing quality. The price was relatively high for my budget but you can't get Sennheiser products any cheaper. I couldn't be more satisfied with the lav mic. Not only does it perform perfectly, but it looks and feels like I'm using top of the line professional gear. Wait, I am using top of the line professional gear!! Seriously though, you can spend half the money and get something cheaper, but I guarantee you that it won't be nearly as good as the G3. On top of all this I have peace of mind knowing this baby is protected for 3 years (I bought the 3 year warranty.)

Our company bought this mic for a series of marketing seminars that our boss Nicole Munoz is doing in CA. It worked really good. The seminar lasted over six hours and the battery on both the receiver and transmitter were only half way empty.
The only thing, when recording directly to the video camera, make sure you lower the sound on the transmitter. The sound is a little too loud (which is better, rather than too low) You can do this by 6 decibel steps. Read the manual on how to do this. We used a Sony HDR-XR160 video camera.
