Vivitar's ViviCam 5018 is a pocket-sized, entry-level digital camera that features a 5.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, and a 7.23mm (38mm equivalent) fixed-focal length lens with a maximum aperture of f/2.8. Images can be composed and viewed post-capture on the camera's 1.8" TFT color LCD screen. Aside from still images, the ViviCam 5018 can also capture AVI video clips for viewing on your computer or uploading to YouTube and other online applications.
Other features found on the Vivitar ViviCam 5018 include AntiShake technology, built-in flash with Red-Eye Reduction, USB 1.1 connectivity, and 8Mb of built-in memory. The ViviCam 5018 also accepts SD/MMC memory cards of up to 8GB capacity, is PictBridge enabled, and powers off 2 AAA batteries (alkaline or rechargeable).
The Vivitar ViviCam 5018 comes with a copy of PhoTags Express software, which enables you to catalog and archive your photos (and prevent file duplication), crop them, make color and tonal adjustments, add captions, and other image editing functions.

I have a 5 year old 1 MP camera that delivers photos of similar quality and I've seen better photos from phone cameras. I'm a bit surprised at the poor image quality of this camera. Don't even try to shoot indoors ... you will need a very brighly lit, very still subject to shoot with this camera.

This is a nice camera for casual use as it is small and lightweight
but it lacks options that you might take for-granted fore example date and time.
