The Transvideo Rainbow II Widescreen is a 6.5" professional native 16:9 LCD monitor, switchable between 16:9, 4:3 and anamorphic. The Zoom function enlarges the center of the image in 4:3 and anamorphic. Truly universal, it accepts NTSC, PAL BG, PAL M, PAL N and SECAM. Light and compact it is ideal for on-board camera use. The monitor is designed to be used without hood in full sun. The Rainbow II is easily switched between its 3 composite video inputs and is ideal for a wide variety of on-set camera monitoring scenarios. Multi-Region Compatibility
The Rainbow II accepts NTSC, PAL and SECAM. Conveniently, the monitor automatically detects which standard it is being fed without having to push a button, flip a switch or access a menu option.
Multiple Display Settings
The image can be displayed in full, broadcast or underscan modes. In full and underscan modes, the operator has the comfort to know the full video image is displayed without any cropping.
High Quality Knob Controllers
The 4 metal potentiometers can be used by turning them (manual mode) or
by pressing them (digital mode). The manual mode provides adjustments for
Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Hue in NTSC. More advanced features such as Sharpness, Flips, Display modes and Ratios are achieved in digital mode. The Lock function prevents accidental activation of the digital mode; once "locked" the monitor operates like a 5" Rainbow I.
