Great long lasting battery, I've been able to get about 2,000 shots off without using flash with this battery in the K-5 before needing a charge. The recharge time is a bit steep at 6 hours but its worth the wait.

What's there to say really? Worked perfectly out of the box, and with B&H's price of about 35 bucks, who would even consider one of the other non-Pentax units.
It does take a while to recharge, but that's better for the longevity of the battery, so it's not a problem at all, and not a con.

D-LI90 is a best choice for pentax K-5/K-7 users.
There is a little expensive but worth. Genuine battery is good for the camera. Non genuine battery may produce a circuit failure.
So we should use genuine battery for our camera.

Always a good idea to have a second battery for your camera - personally I have a second battery for the battery grip which allows me to go full days on one set of batteries.
I always prefer pentax genuine batteries because they tend to last longer (more cycles) aswell as weigh less than other off-brand batteries.
