Responsive and stylish, the Canon PowerShot G11 Digital Camera represents the 9th generation of the PowerShot G-series and offers professionals and advanced amateurs superior control and imaging capabilities. The coupling of a 10 megapixel CCD sensor and Canon's DIGIC 4 Image Processor dramatically increases light sensitivity while reducing noise. High ISO 3200 capability makes it possible to capture critical shots even under poor lighting conditions. A 2.8" Vari-Angle LCD returns to the G-series allowing users to compose and review images at almost any angle.
Retro and ergonomic, the G11 features classic control dials to change the exposure mode, exposure compensation, and ISO. The "quick control" dial on the rear of the body mimics the design standard of Canon EOS SLR cameras. At just 1.9" thin and weighing about 12 ounces, the Canon PowerShot G11 offers the control of an SLR in the compact and easy to carry body of a point and shoot.

- By combining a newly developed 10 megapixel CCD sensor and Canon's advanced DIGIC 4 Image Processor, the PowerShot G11 offers dramatically more sensitivity with lower noise than previous PowerShot models. In addition to Program (P), Aperture Priority (Av), and Shutter Priority (Tv), the G11 boasts full Manual (M) control. Enjoy setting ISO speed, depth of field, exposure time, exposure compensation, and white balance to your personal specifications. Want to point and shoot? Concentrate on your subjects and let the camera handle the technical details with Canon's Smart Auto Technology. The G11 analyzes your situation and shooting conditions with 22 scene settings. Whether you're photographing flowers, a captivating sunset, or a night out with friends, the camera maximizes image quality while minimizing effort.
- RAW File Capture
- RAW files allow you to capture images without the loss of detail associated with JPEG compression. Using the included Canon software or a compatible 3rd party RAW converter, you'll enjoy complete creative control in post-production with precise manipulation of shadows, highlights, color, and other image elements.
- System Accessories and EX Speedlite Compatibility
- The PowerShot G11 offers many optional shooting accessories. From the all-new mini-HDMI HDTV connector to an underwater housing, there's something for everyone. Using the dedicated LA-DC58K Lens Adapter, you can attach wide and telephoto converter lenses to match your creative vision.
