Comments about Miller 1034 Compass15 Fluid Head:
This is a solidly built, easily adjustable head, lightweight and you can just feel the quality. It has a very smooth action and you can easily dial in the exact resistance you need to make your pans and tilts very professional. I use it on a Miller Solo DV CF 4 stage tripod with my 5D Mk2 and I have no regrets with this purchase. I have a 28 to 300mm Canon L series lens that I use a lot for video work. I've noticed on other heads that a little play can look like and 'earthquake' when you are on the long end, hence why after much research I invested in this head. I have no regrets. I also bought the Compass Accessory Mounting Bracket and Adaptors as well. They fit on the head easily and my monitor sits on it (with the help of a noga arm) next to the camera instead of on top.
