These westone 1 in ear headphones are great. Putting them into the ear takes a bit of practice but after doing it a few times its no problem. I ended up switching to the larger foam inserts and the sound quality is amazing. I purchased these due to several reviews stating that these earphones stay in the ear during vigorous exercise. I've been to the gym several times and no matter what I'm doing the westone's don't budge from the ear. I'm very pleased so far! Only downside is price. This is the first time I've ever spent over [$] for earphones so the pricetag was initially hard to swallow.

This is a wonderful product. They have amazing sound quality for a single driver in-earphone at such a price. The real advantage though is their endurance and lasting quality. The roped cord is essential for both strength and anti-knotting. The earphone construction is also strong and can endur some harsh treatment. The westone line also provides hours of listening enjoyment with no reduction in comfort or wearabliity. Unparallelled ambiant sound canceling. Once again great set of headphones!!

I use these headphones for running on a treadmill. I was so satisfied to finally find a pair of headphones that stay in my ears. I really like how many sizes there are to choose from. My only wish is that they were wireless.

I was replacing a pair of Shure E3c's that finally died after a few years of use. I found the noise isolation substandard, even using the largest foam earplugs provided. The sound is also fairly bland - minimal bass, compared to what I was given to expect from other reviews. Yes, I know you've got to get them up into the ear for proper sound, but I'm overall underwhelmed given the price.
