Minor differences between these and my original Nikon caps are (1) no logo branding, and (2) the black plastic is a slightly less saturated black, but barely noticeable.

It does what it's meant to do, but I happened to be looking for a lens cap that has a deeper recession. The flat design (like the Canon one I was trying to replace) makes it too easy to hit the front element of the lens, if the element isn't recessed.

Comments about Bower CS77 77mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
Works as advertised. I use this cap on my Canon 24-70L and is a huge improvement over the Canon cap. I will never use another Canon lens cap again.

Once placed, it stays well, but requires some fiddling. Feels less smooth than the original equipment. Great for the price.

Comments about Bower CS77 77mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
Purchased 2 from BH after reading positive reviews. However, their spring tensions were different. One was stiff and stayed on the lens securely, while the other was soft and had a tendency to come off when scuffed.
I pried open both caps and found that the stiffer cap had springs with thicker gauge.
I don't know what to do. I love the stiffer cap, it offers me assurance. Don't know if I will get a good one if I exchange the weaker sample.

The cap stays on better than the name brand version of it does. You can't beat the price.

I got this lens cap to replace one I lost in the dark while shooting a music concert. The "pinch" releases makes it much easier to remove the cap and put it bag when in a dark environment. I will probably buy more for some of my other lenses.

Comments about Bower CS77 77mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
Easy to use cap. I bought this cap to immediately replace the Canon cap on my new camera because it's less conspicuous and much easier to use. Fits well over filters and hasn't just fallen off yet. I suppose the only down side is that it's thicker than the Canon cap but that actually makes it easier to grasp and squeeze in the middle.

This an average cap. It sometimes does not go on as easy as the original but the center pinch is a good race off.

Comments about Bower CS77 77mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
I have chased after the lens cap for the lens I bought this new Bower lens cap for one day too many and since replacing my lens with this Bower lens, the only time my lens cap comes off is when I want it off. I would rather have the protection of a lens cap that protects my very expensive lens then to continue to worry about the lens cap that came with my original lens. It truly is a winner! I am considering getting a Bower Lens Caps for all my lenses because of the fact that they hold their grip and protect precious glass.

Lost my lens cap for my Canon 17-40L lens. This cap works great, has the center grip (which the stock OEM didn't) and feels secure on the lens. It was cheap and shipping was fast

On a 17-55 Nikon. It works as well or better than the Nikon one I lost.

The previous lens I used for my Canon EF 24-70 zoom fell off much too easily, this product stays engaged until I want to take it off. A good replacement.

Works as expected and VERY easily. Like that it has slot in cap to thread retaining line. All in all, can't beat it for the price. Can depress locking levers at both the edge and interior of lens cap (wish Canon did that!)

Works Great. If you have a long lens hood attached to your lens, this design is easier to put on or remove from your lens than the original canon design.

A friend asked me to find a lens cap where the brand name was not showing. This lens cap is a great substitute for the original lens cap.It stays tight on the camera. You really have to knock into it to get it to come off.Good product.

I purchased this Bower Lens Cap after buying a Nikon brand lens cap.
Works exactly the same as the Nikon one.
A little more covert than the Nikon one.
Better value (1/3 the price).
The pinch design is great!
If I need 77mm caps, I'll be buying these from now on.

Comments about Bower CS77 77mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap:
I lost 77mm lens cap while traveling. Like many slip on caps it also slipped off. The Bower CS77 cap has mitigated that problem. It works well and has the added benefit that it can be put on and taken off with a lens hood in place. A product that does exactly what it should and does it inexpensively.
