Comments about Sennheiser EW112-p G3 Camera Mount Wireless Microphone System (G / 566 - 608 MHz):
I am a diy documentary filmmaker who recently bought two wireless kits for interviews. "Easy Setup" makes it a breeze to search for channels and "sync" up the equipment. I have had no problems so far and am extremely happy with the sound quality. The only downside is the price which is a bit high for a diy, recent college grad.

Excellent quality, very happy with its ability to block out noise. It was a bit pricey, but over all worth it. If your a pro, don't bother with the cheaper alternatives

I've had this on my wish list for months and finally bit the bullet and ordered it....very happy I did! I bought this to use to provide good quality audio for video shot with my GoPro HD and iPhone 4S, recording to a Tascam DR40. The build quality of the Transmitter & Receiver is excellent, the ME2 mic sounds awesome and the device was very easy to set up and get working right out of the box! Great Product!

A great transmitter and receiver, that work over distances of more than 100 feet without any interference. I wish it came with a small windscreen for the mic, but other than that, no complaints whatsoever.

Comments about Sennheiser EW112-p G3 Camera Mount Wireless Microphone System (G / 566 - 608 MHz):
This wireless mic pack system is the best for it's price point. Might be even be [$] too expensive, but still worth it. They rarely drop out or hiss (unless you're doing something wrong) and they are the web-video standard, without a doubt. Also, B&H has tons of additional mics you can add on to these packs. If you go with the slightly cheaper Sony options, you won't be able to get high-end mics for them.

I use this lav mic for interviews, speeches, and on camera talent. It has really good sound. It was hard for me to get it set up, but I've used this mic before and it's very good.

I use this in film production when I need dialogue in a wide shot. This is a great mid range system for those who can't afford a Lectrosonics system like me.

Comments about Sennheiser EW112-p G3 Camera Mount Wireless Microphone System (G / 566 - 608 MHz):
Bought this system to replace an old wireless lav system. [...] this is the best entry-level professional grade wireless mic system. It sounds great, and the units have a well-built, solid feeling. I love the connectors on the cables, as they have a metal piece that helps prevent wearing out the point of contact coming out of the audio ports. A bit of clutter on the screen display - like why even bother displaying the model number on the screen? - but I love having a battery meter. The menu system feels a little clunky, and not super intuitive, but you can wrap your head around it fairly easily. Took it out into the field the next day after I bought it for a run and gun shoot, and aside from briefly being panicked that the frequency had gotten inadvertently changed, I was at piece of mind the rest of the day. Solid.

Comments about Sennheiser EW112-p G3 Camera Mount Wireless Microphone System (G / 566 - 608 MHz):
This is a great microphone, but watch the frequencies. Obviously I got G, which I'm guessing is commonly used in certain spots in NYC because I get a lot of static interference which renders the recorded audio useless! However, in spots that I assume G is NOT commonly used by others, the mic, transmitter and receiver work perfectly and produce fantastic sound!

Comments about Sennheiser EW112-p G3 Camera Mount Wireless Microphone System (G / 566 - 608 MHz):
I use the EW112-p G3 with a ME2 lav on my Canon XHa1s. I need sturdy equipment that will accommodate for the fact that I am wiring active people in the outdoors, for example, outdoor education instructors leading a trip of constantly moving and excited children. Not only is the system compact and light, it also comes with a very secure clip that I am not afraid of breaking, and a sturdy metal exterior construction. The ME2 mic (omni directional) allows for the priceless reactions of the students to be picked up when a discovery is made such as a flying squirrel poking a head out of a hole; or for stashing in a special case near a hole in the ice where otters come out of for the purpose of capturing incredible audio of their exit from the water, the shake off, and the sounds of their powerful jaws crushing the bones of a fish as they eat and roll in the crispy crystalline snow.... This system catches ALL of that. The incredible sound adds SO much to the images. I am impressed with the ease of set up out-of-the-box and how quickly the system can be mounted/dismounted from the camera or "talent". Would love to see a weatherproof set made.
