Comments about Bookeen Cybook Opus eBook Reader:
I had an unusual requirement for an ebook reader--it had to fully support Russian language ebooks and have an option for a Russian language interface. This limited my selection--but I am happy that I settled on the Cybook Opus, as it is incredibly convenient. The Opus is the lightest ebook reader at less than six ounces, and it fits neatly into most pockets. It is amazing how convenient this can be, since you can take it with you almost anywhere.
I owned a Sony Touch for a short while, and I found its additional size and weight to be a drawback compared to the Opus--although the touch screen was nice.
I also like that the Opus does not require special software to transfer or manage ebooks--it merely shows up as a storage device when connected to your computer.
I use the free Calibre ebook software to acquire and manage most free ebooks, but I have not yet signed up for Adobe Digital Editions to get DRM-protected ebooks.
The convenience of the Opus cannot be understated to me--I use it much more than I would if it was much larger or heavier.
By the way, I bought three of them--one for my wife, one for a colleague, and one for myself. All three of us are very satisfied with them.

Comments about Bookeen Cybook Opus eBook Reader:
I used it to read converted PDFs (text files) and it works great.
Simple interfacing with my PC, amazing battery autonomy.
Very light weight. Nice button placements.
One suggestion: put some kind of ruber matterial on the side lining and the back to reduce sliperiness...

Comments about Bookeen Cybook Opus eBook Reader:
Have been using the Cybook Opus for a week or so now, for reading novels mostly. Its fantastic! So small and light and easy to use. The new firmware upgrade makes it even better - instant reading feature means you can be reading in 1 second.
I wish though that different (and not stupidly expensive) cases were available for it...

Comments about Bookeen Cybook Opus eBook Reader:
The Cybook Opus is lightweight and very comfortable to hold. I tried two versions of Kindles and own a Sony Reader, all of which felt either too heavy, too large or have uncomfortable edges. This product fit my needs perfectly. It's a basic reading device - doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles of the others out there, but does a great job of being compact and well designed. I like the auto rotate feature, the wide choice of font sizes and the nice slip-in case. My only small complaint is on some books the text can run close to the top of the screen - still plainly readable, but I like more margin. I recommend this to anyone who commutes or prefers a smaller lighter "book".
