Switronix XP-DSLR-C Power Tap
The Switronix XP-DSLR-C is an external power tap designed specifically for both the Canon 5D and 7D DSLR cameras. A PRO-X series Lithium-ion battery (purchased separately) or connected Switronix accessory provides ample power over long periods of time, especially when used in video mode.
- The XP model cables can be used in association with a Switronix accessory or used solo with a PRO-X series Lithium-ion battery product.
- Includes both red and green LED indication to display status of battery power.
- When used with the Canon DR-E6, the unit can be used to power a 5D Mark II and 7D

I've got a very large 5 lb. Genesis Battery Pack. I needed an adapter to connect my 7D's AC/DC adapter to the battery so I could use it as a counter-weight on my shoulder rig. A few snips here and there and some technical tweaks and it works just fine.

My unit seems to have a bad wire somewhere and frequently cuts out. Also, both the amber and green LEDs stay on all the time.
