Use the turntable for playback mostly, though wanted USB compatibility to digitize some rare and foreign vinyl albums.

The item was well packaged, and came with excellent instructions for a first time user of a professional turntable. Easy to follow instructions for use of the included software were also included.

The only minor disappointment to me, as a previous user of fully automatic tables was the no auto-return of the tone arm after play.

All said and done, extremely happy with this unit.

Probably the best turntable I ever owned. I'm in the television business, so I think I know when something sounds good. And this turntable was recommended by an audio professional. Understand that I purchased this for personal use, to listen to music purely for my own entertainment. I don't know how this would hold up for a DJ, but as someone who simply wants to hear "Sketches of Spain" as it was meant to be heard, I can attest this player has done a terrific job. I haven't yet tried the software for the USB option yet.

this turntable is well built, heavy base, and comes with a great stylus/needle set up. it is a clone to the sl1200 but if you look up the origins of both .. they have the same roots. been using it for a few weeks now and the USB is a plus and the reverse function for making effects. at first i was skeptical thus i bought only one.. but now i can say its worth every penny to get another! hope this review helps...

Used to transfer LPs to MP3, works best using phono output and a pre-amp,rather than USB connection. Great sound at a very reasonable price.

Just got back into my vinyl. Cartridge broke on my Dual turntable I've used for 32 years. No replacement to be found so I had to go shopping. This was the highest recommended turntable on almost every site I researched.

I bought the turntable through B&H because I saved $180 over the best price I could find in Canada. This included the shipping, taxes and duty. The package arrived within 4 days. Fantastic.

The turntable was everything I expected and more. The sound quality of the cartridge and needle included with the LP120 was rich and warm. Everything about this turntable screams quality and performance.

It was easy to set up and the instructions were clear and concise. Purists will love it, some may find the lack of auto return annoying. I could not find a better turntable at this price point.

This item replaced an inexpensive ancient turntable that quit working. I have used the turntable primarily to play LPs on a good older stereo system for about 2 months. I am not an audiophile, but I am very pleased with the quality of the sound.

Assembly and setup was easy, but you must remember to tighten the set screw on the tone arm counterweight so that it will stay in adjustment, a step that seems to be missing from the instructions.

I have used the turntable and included software to transfer songs from an Lp, into my computer, and then out as a CD. It is doable, but might require some patience. The included documentation and the software website often show previous versions in their examples, which are not necessarily applicable. Not being the most adept at using a computer,I found some useful information on computer user forums dealing with this topic. From there it is basically trial and error, and a bit of the patience mentioned before.

Everything seems good so far. The turntable is nice and heavy and seems to be built well. I noticed some intermittent humming that could be from some of the older records I was listening to. I'm taking the turntable home from work tomorrow to test it on some newer records and see if I still have that problem. I will post a follow up afterwards.

Replaced a PL-400 that was 30+ years old, no one locally to repair it. Not able to spend alot right now for highend equipment. Researched what is available new and used, decided to try this one. Received the newer AT95E cartridge with the TT and I'm very pleased with the sound quaility and features it has. Moving my albums to MP3s for traveling. Still useing my Amp to sound card set up, so I haven't used the onboard preamp. Using Spin-it-Again program to edit as before, so I can't review the inclosed software. I may try them later, if not it is good to know I have options if needed. B&H shipped quickly and well packaged. I'm very pleased so far.

I just got this unit and am still getting used to it. So far its fidelity, operation, and veratility are great. I have a record collection with 78, 45, and 33 speed discs that I want to preserve. This will handle it all.

This is a record player that I have bought as a replacement for the lower priced ATLP60USB model that I purchased previously.

When it arrived, I noticed the stark visual similarities between the two models, but noticed the more high-tech components of this model over the other. I would say that this was an improvement that was worth the money.

So far I have used it quite a decent bit, and have had no issues. The only downside was that the CD included simply had Audacity, a free application that can be found online. Instead of using that, I used Adobe SoundBooth to rip and process the audio.

Overall, I am quite pleased with the product.

Ordered this table two weeks ago. I did a bunch of searching online and BH had by far the best price and the upfront Customs and Shipping charges for me to Canada was fantastic and a great price. The table got delivered in a less than 48 hours. Everything is great, had a Crosley TT before and this leaps and bounds better. Everything works great, the supplied cartridge tracks at 1.5-2.5g which is great, I was hoping it wasn't the DJ cartridge which tracks at ~4g, even though it is worth more, I don't DJ. It comes with the cords to connect speakers, receivers, and headphones which is great. Just used the USB function and supplied software and it works perfectly. Thanks a lot for the great turntable and allowing me to hear my amazing collection again!

At first, I was a little hesitant about this turntable, as it has USB capabilities. I took this as a sign that it would high on gimmicks and low on quality. That is not the case at all. It is a very high quality, very well made, and heavy turntable. Audiophiles could probably tear it apart with issues they have with it and recommend a 2,000 deck, but this is a perfect blend of design, audio quality, and price.

You can do your research, but you won't find a better deal anywhere.

I bought this to replace a 35 year old turntable. Great product for the price. The only problem is trying to adjust the tone arm balance. Still skips on any record with a slight warp.

Please note that I am not a DJ or planning to become one. I just enjoy listening to new and old vinyl records and this thing has AMAZING sound. I am running the turntable through an old receiver and speakers (purchased sometime around 1992) and the sound is excellent. The assembly was fairly easy. The hardest part was balancing the needle arm w/ the counter weight but after about 3 minutes and half way through my first song, it got sorted out.

Now onward to my expanding record collection.

The Audio-Technica 120 Turntable delivers a very nice turntable for the money. It delivers the quality you would want but at a fraction of the cost of the Technics Wheels of Steel. I recommend use for the novice turntablist.

I have not used the USB recording function - but may in the future. However, as far as spinning vinyl, this machine does a great job.
Wow and flutter, and rumble are below audible levels. The feet absorb vibration so well, I can really get the volume up without feed back. It has a lot of features, and the platter starts and stops almost instantly.
The only thing I feel needed changing was the cartridge - tracking force of 3.5 to 5 grams is excessive - okay for scratching, I guess, but not on my albums. I put a cartridge that tracks about 1.25 gram, and the tone arm works flawlessly.

This is a replacement for an old tired turntable. I took the time to set up the the tone arm per the easy to follow instructions and the result was amazing. The technically best records sounded better than I thought possible. The price you pay for that performance is that the difference between the best and the so-so recordings become very clear.
The turntable is stable and the feel of controls is excellent considering the price of the unit.

I have also taken advantage of the USB output. The instructions for setting up the turntable to digitize old records are good. The time consuming part of the process is figuring out how to use the Audacity audio editing program.
The results have been quite good.
