Wasn't worth the risk

I'm returning my 450. I took it too the airport and it will not pass for a carry on. My local airline said they would let it go through, but she couldn't promise anything for another airline. I can't take only one flight from where I live, so I'm outta luck. It's to deep to meet the 10 inch rule. And I was so looking forward to getting back into a lowepro product!!!!

Comments about Lowepro Pro Runner x450 Rolling AW Backpack:
I bought this backpack since with a bad back even using a backpack style camera bag was getting too much so the idea of rolling the camera bag seemed like a solution. This is a BIG camera bag and will hold a ton of "stuff". It might be too big to actually use as a backpack. This camera bag has been rolled on pavement, grass, etc with no problems and seems balanced that when rolling it so it doesn't start twisting when rolling. The bag has an access "sleeve" designed for papers, pens & a laptop. I wish that this sleeve was customizable so that I could put my memory cards in there etc so don't have go into the bag to retrieve.

big, comfortable, versatile. I like the wheels/backpack option. Won't fit in small plane cabins.

Comments about Lowepro Pro Runner x450 Rolling AW Backpack:
I am teaching photography in Japan for 3 years and had carried all my stuff in some old Nikon bags. Recently I tried one Lowepro product and it was very good for me. I decided to buy this bag because I have to take some travels around the country and I can carry a lot of things with this bag. My notebook, my lenses and cameras always travel with a good protection in this bag. And the best is that it is a rolling bag too. The wheels run perfectly.

Superb quality and very well-balanced regarding the tires.
Laptop department is very easy to reach, but there is no any protector. So you will certainly need a neoprene laptop carrier...
It could be just a little bit bigger, but you can have it all, right?

Comments about Lowepro Pro Runner x450 Rolling AW Backpack:
Although slightly heavy and thick, this rolling backpack will provide ample room for all my camera gear and laptop. The thick padding will protect my camera and lens from any damage. Hopefully, I will never have to use the rain flap, but I'll be ready just in case. The whole pack is very sturdy, and I'm anxious to pack it for my next airline adventure.

Comments about Lowepro Pro Runner x450 Rolling AW Backpack:
I did not need the backpack feature, just the rolling part, but this bag was the right size and price. It holds a lot of gear and feels very secure. I carry two bodies, four lenses, a quantum flash, battery and bracket, plus back 580 flash and other assorted stuff. The pockets in the top compartment hold the cards and batteries and is easy to get into in a hurry.
