The Canon LP-E8 Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery Pack has a capacity of 1120mAh, making it possible to shoot many photographs with your Canon EOS Rebel T2i or T3i digital camera on a single battery charge. The battery is also compact and lightweight. There is no memory effect, so you can recharge partially drained batteries without reducing performance.

With two of these in my T2i's battery grip, I am confident that I'll be shooting for a long time. With only one (in the body), I was amazed at the life, even when the camera had sat for a few weeks. As an owner of several Canon products, I have to say that the power consumption characteristics are very good, and I believe that using Canon brand batteries is probably the best way to maximize my cameras' capabilities.

I needed a back up battery for my Canon T3i on a long day indoor shoot- 8 hours. Other brands did not hold a charge as long the Canon lithium battery. This battery lasted almost to the end of the shoot and between the two batteries, I had plenty of power left at the end of the day!

I needed a backup battery for my Canon t3i, it wasa 6 hour indoor shoot. The other brand of lithium batteries do not hold the charge for any length of time. W
With the 2 Canon Lithium batteries, I was able to perform to shoot and had power left over between the two batteries. Worth the price!

I use this battery with my Canon Rebel T3i. It is a replacement battery for the one that shipped with the camera -- that one died on me after 30 or so minutes of being in the camera. So far this one performs much better and to the standards I have grown to expect from Canon.

I was not sure if I wanted to go with the OEM batteries out there. So, decided to spend the money and get a couple of the original batteries from B&H Photo.
The batteries were in original packing and the one that I tried worked great similar to the one I got with the Camera.
Its money worth spending!
