The A53M from Shure is a high-quality isolation mount and swivel adapter. The mount has standard threads for use with a variety of mic stands and boom arms. The full-circle design provides a secure hold, reducing mechanical noise and vibration by up to 20dB. The mount is compatible with virtually any tapered microphone, including the SM81, SM94, VP64, KSM137, KSM141, and 849.

Shure A53M Reviews
Beware, this does not fit the Shure SM137 mic.
I did not read the description carefully. It says it fits the KSM137. The KSM137 and the SM137 apparently are not the same diameter. This shock mount is too small for the SM137. Shure does not make a shock mount for the SM137 microphone. I have Shure Beta 57As which are tapered. I use the Shure A55M shock mounts with those mics and they work fine. I have been using an Auray shock mount for the SM137, but it is a hot shoe mount, which I use on a tripod or camera. I also wanted to use the SM137 on a standard mic stand. So, now I have order an adapter ($4.00) to mount the Auray shock mount on a mic stand, which I should have done in the first place and saved $36.00. Maybe B&H will take the Shure mount back.
Does what it is supposed to.
Not cheap but does a good job of isolating the mic from floor and stand vibrations.
