Comments about Adam Professional Audio A7X 7" 150W Active 2-Way Studio Monitor (Single):
I was first introduced to Adam monitors at my previous production position by the head audio engineer. I knew when it came time to upgrade my home studio, Adam monitors were at the top of my short list. I debated on whether getting the Adam A5X models with a subwoofer or just a pair of the A7X. Because my home studio is small with untreated walls I opted in favor of a pair of A7X and no subwoofer. Absolutely no regrets. These things sound so amazing! Plenty of low end. This is one of the single best investments I've ever made for editing HD video. How good are they? My old monitors will soon be listed for sale.

Comments about Adam Professional Audio A7X 7" 150W Active 2-Way Studio Monitor (Single):
I score music for television and had used the older A7's for 3 years. It was time to upgrade so after reading great reviews on the newer A7x's I ordered a pair.
The low end definition is translating perfectly to the mix stage and the new tweeter's in the A7x's are really sweet without coloring the sound whatsoever.

Comments about Adam Professional Audio A7X 7" 150W Active 2-Way Studio Monitor (Single):
I had some experience with the earlier generation Adam A7. The new A7X model features some very nice improvements. Where the old A7 seemed to be a little subdued in the 40hz range, the A7X goes down to 40 without difficulty and shows signs of audio as low as 28-30hz.
It is hard to beat the ribbon tweeters for clarity and stereo imaging.
While I do tracking in a pro studio, I purchased a pair of A7Xs for my home setup where I can do editing and basic automation. I am tempted to take these speakers into the pro studio and try some detailed mixing. They are portable and just the right size for me.

Comments about Adam Professional Audio A7X 7" 150W Active 2-Way Studio Monitor (Single):
Balanced but with plenty of bottom end, these monitors rock. I use them at home with Ableton Live and Reaper and they sound solid all the way through the frequency spectrum. The ribbon tweeters make the high end especially smooth and they have a nice, wide 'sweet spot'. Buy these.
