I bought this for use with my Rebel XT (350D) and it's been great. When mounted on a tripod, this remote helps completely get ride of any camera shake, even that caused by simply pressing the on camera shutter button. So far I've used it to shoot models, cars, and scenery and it's paid for itself. Great remote for the money.
Cable is just the right length. Multi-function button is perfect to get AE/AF lock and then take the picture.
Only down side is I always reach for the wrong part of the remote - they put the button on the side where the wire comes out so that when it dangles from your camera, the button is already on top; but I always try to correct for where I think the button should be (so by making it more ergonomic they made it seem backwards). I should get used to this over time though.
I prefer this to my wireless RC-1 which only gets use for self portrait work.

Canon Remote Switch
The remote switch is easy to handle but cord is too short. It is good for using with a tripod but not much else. Not sure I would purchase another.

Comments about Canon RS-60E3 Remote Switch:
I purchased the RS-60E3 Remote Switch to get more stable shots on my tripod. The switch goes above and beyond brilliant design. It fits nicely in the hand, the button offers a full two-step (half-press to autofocus) shutter that feels nice to press. The button can also lock in the active position for shooting in continuous drive mode, allowing one to relese their hand and the camera keep shooting. The cord was long enough for my purposes.
Perhaps the best part of this product is that the switch includes two notches so that one can wrap the cord around the switch when it is not in use. For someone like me who likes to keep my camera bag neat, this is a very welcome feature.

Comments about Canon RS-60E3 Remote Switch:
WHEN I BOUGHT MY REBLE 2Ti IN NOVEMBER I ADDED ON SOME TOYS,ONE BEING THE RS-60E3 REMOTE SWITCH. I PLAYED AROUND WITH IT WHEN TAKING LONG EXPOSURES ON A TRIPOD, BUT EVENTUALLY JUST ENDED UP USING THE MIRROR LOCKUP AND 2 SECOND TIMER INSTEAD. IT ENDED UP IN THE BOTTOM OF MY CAMERA BAG UNTIL ONE WARM JANUARY DAY WHEN I VENTURED OUT TO TAKE LONG TIME EXPOSURES OF A SMALL WATERFALL.
I SET UP MY OBEN AC232L TRIPOD ON THE EDGE OF THE BROKEN DAM, EXTENED THE CENTER COLUMN TO THE LIMIT AND TILTED IT TO HANG OVER THE WATERFALL. THIS HAD THE CAMERA PERCHED OVER THE WATER AND WILE I COULD USE THE LIVE VIEW LCD FOR VIEWING I COULD BARELY REACH THE SHUTTER BUTTON AND WAS AFRAID OF KNOCKING EVERYTHING INTO THE WATER.
THEN I REMEMBERED THE REMOTE SWITCH STILL IN THE BAG. AFTER PLUGING IT IN I GOT SOME GREAT SPECIAL EFFECT SHOTS AND EVERYTHING REMAINED DRY. ALTHOUGH I MIGHT ONLY USE IT OCCASIONALLY IT SAVED THE DAY AND WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Seamless integration with my Canon DSLR body. My only complaint is that the cord could be a little bit longer. Highly recommended.

Use this remote when putting my camera on the spotting scope.
I can't have the slighest movement when depressing the shutter.
This solved my problem and helps me to take excellent long range photos.

Comments about Canon RS-60E3 Remote Switch:
The product does as advertised - an off camera shutter release. Its great and I absolutely love the no-shake option. However, I'm left wanting MORE CORD! The two foot length limits range of movement for the photographer - a must if shooting child or animal portraits. Give me more length - I'll fold up and clip what I don't need but would LOVE the option of mobility. (My Canon Rebel T3 does not offer a wireless remote option.)

Comments about Canon RS-60E3 Remote Switch:
It won't go unused, but I would have benefited from a longer cable and (assuming my XTi could support it), the ability to manage exposure settings on the remote.
Worst of all, the manual was very confusing.

Comments about Canon RS-60E3 Remote Switch:
I use this product as a trigger so as not to disturb the camera resulting in pictures that are not blurry. I like this remote due to the inexpensive cost and its simplicity. It even has notches that allows you to wrap and secure the cable around the switch itself!
