SHAPE Composite Fiction Camera Support

The Shape Composite Fiction Camera Support is a hand-held professional camera support device with an adjustable camera platform. Featuring the Back Pad, Adjustable Composite Shoulder Pad, two 15mm Male-female Rod (6"), Rod Block, Off-set Rail Block, 15mm Rod Riser System, Quick Handle, Telescopic Support Arm with Rod Block, Paparazzi II Handle, Double Bracket, Base Counter Weight, Sliding Rod Block, and Lens Support, the Composite Stabilizer secures the camera firmly with accessories for mobile applications.

Weighing 0.35 lb (0.16 kg), the Back Pad is a professional video accessory that offers augmented camera support stability and comfort. Padded on one side, the pad is attached to the Shoulder Rig via a screw knob. You can adjust the position of the Back Pad to suit your body type with a vertical adjustment range of 1-1/4" and a horizontal adjustment spanning 360°. A screw knob allows easy attachment and removal of the Back Pad from the support with a 1/4-20 threaded hole.

The Adjustable Composite Shoulder Pad rests on your shoulder such that the body supports the weight of the camera and its accessories and is padded for superior comfort. Attached on top is the Rod Block, which is used to hold 15mm rods and attach a camera platform to the front of these rods. The stabilizer also includes two 15mm male-female Rods (6") that have female and male threaded ends (1/2-13").

The Rod Block features two screw-threaded holes that are used to attach a component such as the Quick Handle to 15mm rods. Allowing the component to slides along the rods, the Rod Block secures the component attached by simply tightening a small red knob. Made of lightweight anodized aluminum, it is strong and durable.

Used to attach the Paparazzi Riser to the left or to the right of the 15mm Rods, the Off-set Rail Block has two screw-threaded holes on its side to screw the Off-set Rail Block to the Paparazzi Riser. The 15mm Rod Riser System is used as an accessory for matte boxes, 35mm lens adaptor, and follow focus mechanisms. By supporting the weight of these accessories, it avoids additional weight from being put on the lens. It is composed of a Paparazzi riser, Sliding Rod Block, and two 15mm Aluminum Rods.

The Quick Handle + Rod Block is a professional video stabilization accessory with 2 camera handles, each providing an individual rotation angle of 360°. You can attach the handle to the camera platform using a simple screw knob. A simple push button located at the articulation allows easy attachment and removal. Combined with the anodized aluminum Rod Block, it offers composite camera support for all 15mm rods. You can achieve precise positioning by sliding the Quick Handle along the rods and tightening the small red knob located on the Rod Block.

The Telescopic Support Arm + Rod Block includes a Manfrotto 233B Camera Mount Bracket with a 4" cup that provides a large surface contact area and a Shape Rod Block. Augmented stability and versatility is provided for camera support using the Telescopic Support Arm that can be easily attached to the Shoulder Rig via an "L" bracket. You can extend the Telescopic Support Arm from a length of 14-20". A rotation of 360° along the vertical and horizontal axes is possible via the rotating arm. Easy attachment and removal of the cup attributes versatility to the Telescopic Support Arm. Removal of the cup enables you to use the arm for supporting accessories such as a microphone or camera light.

Equipped with a wide variety of threaded holes (1/4-20, 3/8-16) located on the sides, on top, and below the handle, the Paparazzi II handle is used to attach various accessories like audio recorders, LED lights, spot lights, LCD screens, remote controls, microphones, grips, padded handles, etc. The BRAC1 Double Bracket is part of the Paparazzi II handle and it is used to attach the double handle to the Paparazzi Riser.

The Base Counter Weight is used in combination with the Adjustable Composite Shoulder Pad to augment stability of a camera support by balancing or counterweighting the camera at the rear. Free motion of the handles is also enabled as the camera weight is relieved by the counter weight, and enhanced comfort is offered via padding. You can attach the Counter Weight to the Shoulder Pad via 15mm rods. Equipped with a Rod Block, the Base Counter Weight can be attached to the 15mm rods. Precise balance is achieved by positioning the Counter Weight near or further away from you, which is possible by sliding the weight along the rods.

The Sliding Rod Block allows vertical positioning using a 4mm hexagonal key. It secures the position of the sliding rod block along the rods by simply tightening a small red knob. Made of anodized aluminum for strength and durability, the Sliding Rod Block is compatible with 15mm rods. The Lens Support has a height adjustment feature, and supports lenses for camera support systems that are equipped with the 15mm Rod System or the 15mm Rod Riser System.
