The Gemini Sound UHF-5100M: Single-Channel UHF Handheld Wireless System is designed for live sound reinforcement applications such as for DJs, lecturers, singers, and fitness instructors, among others. This system consists of a single-channel UHF wireless receiver and one wireless UHF dynamic microphone transmitter.
The receiver features 1156 transmission channels with a transmission range of approximately 250 feet. It utilizes phase locked loop circuitry to prevent phasing issues commonly found in other wireless systems. To prevent unwanted noise from entering the signal, the device includes an auto-mute function. The front panel includes a power button, one rotary volume control, RF and AF LED indicators, and adjustment controls for group and channel assignments. Each receiver can connect up to 20 microphones simultaneously without interference.
Each dynamic microphone transmitter comes included with a high-sensitivity cardioid capsule and noise absorbing components. The transmitter includes a power/mute button and will run for up to eight hours on two AA batteries.
