Comments about Ilford HP5 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (2 Pack Plus One Free):
I have always liked HP5, and the price for the three pack -- which makes it almost as cheap as the 'student films' can't be beat!
It is a bit grainy, but a) hey, it is 400 iso film, and b) it is a nice grain

Comments about Ilford HP5 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (2 Pack Plus One Free):
I bought six rolls of B&W ISO 400 film for air show photography from B&H. The conditions for the air show were less than ideal with heavy cloud cover and threats of rain. I shot the film with exposure compensation of -1 stop, but had it developed normally at 400. I have used Kodak Tri-X 400 and T-Max 400 and both exhibit finer grain than HP5. But I am willing to give HP5 another try.

Haven't had any problems with this product. Loads into camera easily. Hasn't snagged or gotten caught or jammed inside the camera like I've experienced with another brand of film. The 3 for 2 deal is great for any college student on a slim budget.

I think this is a great deal for the number of rolls of film you get. I have yet to find a similar deal for these rolls in Columbus.

This 3-pack is a good deal on one of my favorite films. HP5+ has always been a consistent performer for me in all formats, and I was glad to be able to save a bit on this film.

Comments about Ilford HP5 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (2 Pack Plus One Free):
I use this film for photo class and personal use.... everything from stop motion to portraits. Even though it's ISO is 400, i've pushed it to 3200. The hand developing time was much longer obviously, but the film developed just fine. I've checked everywhere, even [@], and this is the cheapest place to buy this film.

I was using this product to photograph in darker lighting situations with a tripod and the film came out beautifully. It is also easier to handle when developing because the film lays more flat than other types.

Comments about Ilford HP5 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (2 Pack Plus One Free):
I keep a roll of this in one of my cameras at all times. If you're not the kind of person who shoots through a roll real quick its hard to know what light you're going to come up against. With Ilford HP5, I can be pretty ready for almost any scenario, though it obviously won't work the best in very low light. My only qualm is that the grain can occasionally lack the uniformity that I really look for in film, but then again, in that regard, its sometimes hardly noticeable in other shots. I still use it almost every day I get out with film, and have turned out some of my best shots with it, so I wouldn't even bat an eye to recommend using it.

This is my go-to 400 speed b&w film. I am an avid photographer doing both personal fine artwork and freelance work. I most recently have started to use this film to teach my friend b&w photography as it lends itself to great contrast even as a beginner and is an excellent film for its value.

It's like stepping back into a Lumiere Brother's film. I love the contrast and grain, but film needs to come down in price even more if they expect me to keep using it.
