Great product!

This is a not a common item, but I found it at B&H.

It's very useful for when you want to get the maximum coverage from your wide angle lens. Wide angle lenses often come with an attached 'close-up' lens which is not necessary when using most modern digital camcorders. After you unscrew the 'close-up' lens you are left with 2 female mounts. One on the camcorder and the other on the wide angle adapter. This little coupler solves the problem enabling you to screw the wide angle lens directly onto the front of the camcorder.

I bought this coupler to get macro images to use as reference photos for my paintings. This was a great alternative to buying a new lens and it works exactly as I would have hoped!

I got this to experiment with reverse macro photography using a 100 mm prime lens and a 18-55 mm. The ring works fine for this, however, I must be using the wrong focal lengths since the only image I could get is a small tunnel through the view finder.

I use this with a 150mm Mamiya lens coupled with a 50mm Canon mounted backwards. Makes excellent macro photos and video. Great for experimental shots.

I've used it on flowers, coins, toys and other things in the near future. It took about an hour to get used to and I can't wait to use it more. A cheap alternative to buying a macro lens if budget is restricted.

I used this coupler to go from a lens to an old pro-4-hood. Of course I had to do some tweaking but it worked out great!

Purchased this to reverse my 50 1.4 on my 100 2.8 macro. The coupler is tight. The threads are great and no problem with stripping. If you have two lenses that work well for reversing, this is the most inexpensive way of getting into macro.

If you shoot macro and can't get close enough, and have a spare 100mm and 50mm with 58mm front ends, this is a really really great piece of kit to use. Gets insanely close focus distance.
