If you edit photos, it is must.
1. I need a well calibrated monitor to edit photos and also have it match my second monitor. The better calibrated the easier it is to match the lab for printing.

This is a little bit more difficult to use than my previous monitor calibrator. More importantly, when used on my three screens, they all came out with a slight green/blue cast. They do all match, but they seem cool to me. I also have difficulty getting it to set up for my dual-monitor setup. I had to unplug one to have it calibrate the second, and now it wants me to do it every 30 days...

Just upgraded from Spyder2Express to Spyder4Express. Much improved calibration over the older version but still very simple to use. This doesn't have many bells and whistles but it's very good for basic monitor calibration especially if you do your own printing.

My photographs were not coming out as bright as I thought they should be, and not what I was seeing on my monitor. With Spyder4 express, it converted my monitor from night into day; the whites are purer which makes the color really pop out. It has made my B&W work really stand out.
I liked the side by side comparisons you see after the process is completed; really made a difference.

This product is a great color calibrator for the hobbyist. It certainly improved my poorly calibrated monitor for photo editing and was a good enough match to use in conjunction with my school's computers/printers for class. Without he extra investment, my purchase of photo editing software would have been pointless!

Calibrated two separate monitors, one for my desktop and one for my husband's laptop. However, I could not calibrate dual monitors for the laptop. The results were easy to understand and I did not have to do anything other than install the software. Everything else was automatic. Definitely worth the money if color accuracy is important.
