The ImageCenter ADS-2000 High-Speed Document Scanner from Brother features a 24ppm scan speed and a 600 DPI optical resolution. The scanner is ideal for batch scanning and scanning large documents thanks to its 50-sheet ADF. Additionally, with auto duplex scanning, the ADS-2000 easily handles 2-sided documents in 1 pass. There's no need to convert the document to a 1-sided document before scanning. Easily digitize your files and get rid of the paper clutter. Additionally, the scanner's compact size means you can keep it on the desktop without causing clutter.
In addition to scanning documents, the scanner can handle business cards as well as plastic cards such as IDs and driver's licenses. Additionally, the scanner includes modes to provide a smooth workflow. Scan modes include scan to email, scan to image, scan to USB memory device, and scan to Android phone/tablet.
The ADS-2000 comes bundled with a software suite that helps you get the most out of your scanner. Nuance PaperPort lets you scan directly to PDF. Additionally, the software lets you create and fill out electronic forms in a simplified manner. Nuance PDF Converter provides OCR capabilities and lets you save scanned documents as Microsoft Office or searchable PDF files. Also included is Presto BizCard which takes scanned business cards and imports the contact information directly to Microsoft Outlook and contact management software.
