The model numbers are similar so B&H needs to check the reviews for the older battery vs. this newer one.

Great deal!

Got this for my FS7. Fully charged it is good for 335 mins. It charges with the supplied charger that comes with the FS7. However the minutes seem to diminish a tad quicker than the actual time the battery is powering the camera. For example, 20 mins less on the display is actually 16 or so minutes in real time. This is all in 1920x1080 24p XAVC-I. Did not test it using any 4k resolution. Only thing i did not pay attention to when ordered: this battery sticks out at the bacl of the camera for about an inch. Might not be pretty, but the battery actually helps to balance the camera out if used in barebone set up. Would buy another one. Recommended but still need test further in real life applications.

Will the 12 volt Powertap out work with the D-Tap ...

Will the 12 volt Powertap out work with the D-Tap power cable of the Zylight Newz LED On-Camera Light BH #ZYNEWZLEDLT?
Asked by: Paul
Yes, since the Zylight Newz LED takes 5 to 20 VDC, a 12V D-tap cable will work.

question

Does this work on a Sony fs 7?
Asked by: Dawie V.
Yes it does. Works great. It will work with any sony camera as it actually connects to the DCvport on the back of the camera. You don't get the battery meter that you are used to in the monitor its a voltage meter but it you do get used to it. One battery easily last 12-14 hours with heavy Useage and they take about 6 hours to charge on the standard issue sony charger. You can't use them with the extension as it sticks out of the camera body but this shouldn't be an issue because you will switch to AB it V mount batteries anyways. However, since it uses the DC in you could rig something up if you really wanted to. I hope that answers your question if not let me know and I'll be happy to try and help.

question

Does it have the cable for the FS7?
Asked by: Robert
Yes it does. The camera only powers through that cable. The contacts on the battery do not power the camera. The only thing to watch out for is the cable could slide out during use.
