light, sturdy and inexpensive, this stud is an excellent quality connexion item. I have a few of them as spare studs in my toolbox, just in case.

Are these in fact aluminum, as one review claims? Or are they resin? I just got one, and can't tell, so I'm wondering how much strength/durability to expect from it.
