Equinox D7100 Overview

This Underwater Housing from Equinox is a waterproof case enabling you to shoot beneath the water's surface with your Nikon D7100 digital SLR camera with 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR DX lens. It has a depth rating of 250'. An Ikelite 2-pin TTL bulkhead connector allows for the attachment of optional external strobes via sync cords, which are available separately. Strobes from Ikelite and other brands are usable with the proper cords.

The housing's mechanical controls provide access to essential camera functions, including Shutter Button, Start/Stop Recording, Power On/Off, Mode, Both Dial Selectors, White Balance, ISO, Menu Button, Menu Select & Scroll, Play, Manual Focus and Manual Zoom, and more. It is constructed from durable polyvinyl carbonate and features a dome lens port and neutral buoyancy.

The Ballast Release System (BRS) serves two purposes: easy travel underwater and fast transport to the surface. Just pull on the quick release pin on one of the wings and the wing and ballast/handle will both be released; the housing will then become positive in buoyancy and shoot to the surface. The housing features rubber feet for stability on boat decks, as well as a D-ring on the rear plate for easy lanyard attachment.
