Ever since Fujifilm released the FinePix X100 last March, fans and enthusiasts have been clamoring for a version of the camera in all black.
Available until now only in a silver finish, the X100 is a premium digital rangefinder camera with a 23mm f/2 lens (equivalent to 35mm on a 35mm camera) and 12.3 megapixel APS-C-sized CMOS image sensor. Housed in a rugged magnesium-alloy body, the X100 features a hybrid viewfinder that switches between optical and electronic modes.
Sometimes you don’t have to be careful what you wish for; you simply have to wish for it. Fujifilm is releasing 10,000 units of the X100 as the Fujifilm X100 Black Limited Edition. The limited-edition camera comes with a leather case, a lens hood, an adapter ring, a protective filter and a certificate of authenticity stating that it’s one of only 10,000 units produced. The model will never again be available once all 10,000 units are sold out.
