Nikon D7000 Firmware Upgrade

Users of the Nikon D7000 digital SLR camera have been complaining about bright spots when recording video of dark subjects or in low-light situations. Nikon has acknowledged and resolved the problem with its release of updated firmware for the camera, which can be downloaded for free from Nikon's website.

 

 

The problem, which occurred when shooting video with the Nikon D7000 in low-light situations, revealed itself as noticeable bright spots, or hot pixels that appeared on the LCD screen when there was no apparent reason. While the firmware update doesn't completely eliminate the problem, it should make the problem a great deal less noticeable. Here's a link to the download from Nikon's website:
