About Rod Goodman

At the age of 18, Rod Goodman started his first real job at Hanna Barbera Studio, in Hollywood, CA, the home of Fred Flintstone, Yogi Bear, and the Smurfs. Goodman worked there for more than a decade, and that helped form his view of the world today.

When he was 30, Goodman decided to study photography. At 33, he opened his studio. Three years after that, Goodman was one of the busiest headshot photographers in Los Angeles. By the end of 2004, after shooting more than 20,000 clients, he was inspired to expand his photo studio to include New York City. With his vast experience in L.A., he had gained perspective on how to capture his subjects in a relaxed and natural way. Goodman credits respect and teamwork as being key ingredients to his success.
