Korg Minilogue: Quick Listen
02/23/2016In the following “Quick Listen” video, Greg Johnson demonstrates the Korg Minilogue Polyphonic Synthesizer and shows how this powerful new synthesizer can be a useful addition to any musician’s inventory. The video explores some of the 100 Factory/User presets and how to utilize the onboard true-analog oscillators, filter, amplifier, envelope generators, and LFO. Johnson shows us each of its eight modes including 4-Voice, Duo, Unison, Mono, Single Note Chords, Delay, Arpeggiator, and Side-Chain. Additionally, the video touches upon the 16-note polyphonic sequencer, which can be implemented in step mode or real time. The Minilogue offers programmable sliders, a tape-style delay, and a built-in oscilloscope, as well as MIDI I/O, USB and Sync I/O. We hope you enjoy the video, and invite you to view the wide selection of other instructional and informative videos at BandH.com.

Very reminiscent of the Korg MonoPoly. Impressive sounds and controls. The little oscilloscope is cool. The only thing that I think would make it better is 4 VCFs and 4 VCAs. However from what I can tell this thing is meant more for leads than pads and such. I bet Keith Emerson could have made this thing talk. Rest in Peace Keith. You Were the Man!
