Event Space FAQ

How do I register for an event?
To register for an event, please click on the "Register" link on the event you wish to attend.
How many days in advance should I sign up for an event?
If you want to guarantee a seat for an event, please register ASAP. Our events can fill up fast.
When I visit the Event Space website, I do not see a calendar or list of events. Do you know why this is happening?
Please make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of Java on your browser. This usually solves the problem.
What is "My Events"?
"My Events" is located in the B&H My Account Hub. It is a list of the events you are currently registered for. Through "My Events" you are able to cancel a reservation for an event.
How much do events cost?
All our events are free.
How do I cancel my registration to an event?
There are 3 ways to cancel an event:
  1. Log into your account. Go to My Account and My Events. On each of your registered events, there is a link that says Cancel Reservation. After you click on this link, your reservation will be cancelled.
  2. Log into your account. Go to your event in Event Space. Click Details and Reservations for your event. Click Cancel Reservation. Your reservation will be cancelled.
  3. On your confirmation email click Cancel Reservation option.
If you cannot attend, please remember to cancel your reservation.
This allows someone who could not RSVP the chance to register for the event.
Where are the events located?
Events are held in various locations. Your Confirmation Email will include the exact address. The B&H Event Space is located on the second floor of the store, which is located at 420 9th Ave, New York, NY 10001. Map & Directions
Can I still show up to an event if it's booked to capacity?
For events that are filled to capacity, we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early and get your name on the waitlist for a seat that becomes available due to no shows. Most of the time, there is a very good chance that you can get a seat.
Where do I park if I'm attending an event?

If you are attending an event at Event Space, but are not making a purchase of at least a $100 then you will have to either pay a fee to use the Central Parking garage, or find metered parking on the street.

Customers attending events who plan to make purchases (this offer is not valid for attending seminars without making a purchase) must use the Central Parking garage that is located on the North West side of 34th street (and 9th Avenue) beneath the Emblem Health building. You must tell the attendant at the parking garage that you are going to B&H, otherwise they will ask you to pre-pay.

Customers who attend a seminar and purchase products valued at $100 dollars will receive a voucher for free parking up to four hours of parking. You must present your e-mail reservation from the Event Space and invoice at the tourism center to claim your parking voucher.

The free parking offer for Event Space attendees is not valid in the small parking lot located at 349 West 34th Street between 8th and 9th Ave, across the street from the customer service entrance. If you are attending an event, DO NOT park in this lot. This parking lot is only for customers who are making purchases and not attending events. One hour of free parking is available to B&H customers who make a minimum purchase of $100, and 2 hours of free parking is available with a purchase of $300 and up.

We recommend public transportation as we are located close to several major subway, bus and train lines.

Can I eat my lunch in the Event Space?
No, but you can drink water and eat pretzels.
